So many people say it makes a huge difference in comfort and grip. Would so much like to hear your opinion. I am amazed that the X was more powerful even with the belt drive the original Wowgo 3 which got such great results for torque in many tests. Best regards Jonas
The difference on paper sounds like it would be huge but to me it isn't. They are both extremely smooth and with 3x with the stiffer deck but belt driven makes it feel similar to the 3 with hubs and a flexier deck.

Regarding the comments around 17.20..Well they will of course look and be very similar unless you start looking deeper as they all have a deck and four wheels. For example I have found from comments sections that the backfire g2s/t has a much better esc pcb design that the original backfire g2 and that meant much less in the way of issues people were experiencing with damaged esc's. This would of course involve more input from the manufacturer but if it helps to build trust in a brand and means customers know the manufacturer are listening problems encountered and improving on them then that can't be a bad thing!
This board looks amazing. It's definitely one I'm looking at but I'm afraid that belt will attract dirt and small rocks which would result in motor issues down the road.
Talon Sei Honeslty, not seeing a pinned comment anywhere lol. Didn’t see anyone mention it, figured I would.... a lot of complaints about the $900 price, $700 discount included is spot on. Thanks for the dope review.
Kinda, but not really. Belt deriven boards really suck at riding with no power. Boards with hub motors are a million times better at riding without power.
Seems like a solid board, but based on your reviews I would still say the Meepo NLS Pro is better. Similar or better performance and a better price. NLS Pro is still at the top of my list.
One difference between belt and hub motors that i never hear. The hub motors that i had (2 sets) both broke. I think if you arent riding on perfect streets, all the impacts from the cracks translate directly to the motor while belt drive has near total shock absorption thru the belts. I really wanna try the new direct drive motors
I've abused my 2s for over a year and the hub motors are okay but I'm getting annoyed by the crappy ride quality. How much better does a belt drive ride over cracks and imperfections?

Id like to try an electric skateboard but dont wanna sink alot of money into one just to ride it a cpl times and put it in storage. Any advice wld b greatly appreciated

Love these vids but would be even better if they could include some deeper info regarding the electrical drivtrain components used further to the spreadsheet data that is; possibly such as are they designed in-house or by another manufactrer such as hobby king, etc. and maybe any advancments/tweaks each new generation.
I grabbed the wowgo 3 for $474. It's a steal at that price
Awesome video man! Have you checked out any offroad boards? I was thinking for myself while camping.
Hence the additional torque. The only advantage of belt drive is gearing options and no hub sleeves.
Dope vid Brothas
Both boards pretty similar
Hehe I watched to the very end 😂😂😂
This board looks amazing. It's definitely one I'm looking at but I'm afraid that belt will attract dirt and small rocks which would result in motor issues down the road.
Can you test the wow go All terrain board I just purchased one and would like to know what you think
FYI - Wowgo decreased the Wowgo3x price to $749 plus you can get $40-$45 discount. Great board for that price. No brainer
Check the pinned comment 👍🏻 my code “talons45” saves you 45 on top of the decreased price.
Talon Sei Honeslty, not seeing a pinned comment anywhere lol. Didn’t see anyone mention it, figured I would.... a lot of complaints about the $900 price, $700 discount included is spot on. Thanks for the dope review.
@S Scott 900 is to much you could diy one for 900 and have better performance that probably why they lowered the price
Can you recommend a good alteration Ebord? One that can go on street and trails? That is cheaper than the One Wheel?
Can you ride this like a normal longboard when the batterie runs out??
Kinda, but not really. Belt deriven boards really suck at riding with no power.
Boards with hub motors are a million times better at riding without power.
Seems like a solid board, but based on your reviews I would still say the Meepo NLS Pro is better. Similar or better performance and a better price. NLS Pro is still at the top of my list.
Yes but meepo doesn't have a belt driven board yet . Hubs vs hubs yeah they are faster .
Yeah but I don't really care about hubs vs belts. If anything I prefer hubs cuz they're quieter. I'm just looking at cost to performance.
Dude you have allot of boats.. super lucky I’ve been looking at getting one for work for over a month. Still having a hard time saving up for one.
I love hub motors, I think the next revolution is direct drive
Are you going to get the Backfire G3 Plus? It looks like the fastest hub motor board ever.
How long did it take for the wowgo3x for come
One difference between belt and hub motors that i never hear.
How much better does a belt drive ride over cracks and imperfections?
hows the wowgo 3 vs other brands ? meepo nls pro, exway x1 flex, ownboard w2
Does the wowgo 3x have regenerative breaks?
So we’re you strapped during the rides?😂
You should do Skatebolt Breeze II. Just for the heck out of it.
Very informative, thank you!
Does anyone know if I should pick the Wowgo 3x or the Meepo Awd Pro
I need a fast board that is also good on bad roads?
does anyone know if there are any aftermarket remotes that are compatible with the 3x?
Can you look into the skate bolt breeze 2? I’ve been looking at it for a lil while and wanted to know your opinion. It’s an indiegogo startup but already reached its goal and is soon to be sent out!
Wowgo 3x or meepo nls pro which should I buy these are my two options @talonsie
Had the same dilemma between ownboard w2, wowgo3x and nls pro.. i decided to order the new nls pro yesterday. Belt motors are just too noisy for daily commute for me+maintenance costs
@@TheAETHER22 NLS pro has also better range
Was that wowgo hub a 6ah or 8ah version
i like Dave's opinion im not rolling in dough
This board is only going for 600 now I’m thinking I might go with this board!
Hope I can have one of your old board I really want to learn how to ride a long board thanks
I still don't understand why Hobbywing ESC don't have smart turn on features
Whats the cheapest board, or even electric power vehicle one wheel or whatever, for someone to pick up just to get an idea of the electric devices experience??? Ive never ridden or tried any electric board ur anything. The closest ive come is a hover board which wasnt a very good experience really. Wasnt bad but not good either. Id like to try an electric skateboard but dont wanna sink alot of money into one just to ride it a cpl times and put it in storage. Any advice wld b greatly appreciated
I wouldn’t recommend going the cheapest route because odds are you won’t have a good first experience. I would recommend testing a friends if you can find one or if you go the buy route, I would say have a budget of about 300 unless you buy something decent used.
