Long time viewer. Great long video. I've been riding the wowgo mini now for 2 years every day. I've got the Santo battery and it's important I think to talk about the longevity of the batteries. My commute is 22 km ever day. Cool thing about Jason at wowgo is, I told him I needed to replace my hubs (long after warranty) and he said buy another board and I'll replace the hubs for free (almost same cost)... Done. I now have 2 minis.
The practicality of the shortboard with kicktail can not be over emphasized.
Any mention of belt boards has to make mention that at the point of battery depletion you can't manually ride.
Wish u would take a look at the wowgo mini with the wowgo 2s heart. It's the perfect budget board.

It was overpriced. The Ownboard W2 is cheaper and is belt driven. It also has more power. The lower price makes this board with it now. At 900 it was not.

I'm really torn between this and Boosted Stealth. Price difference is HUGE, but there are lots of complaints in YT comment section and on reddit about remotes broke and customer support turning their ass on customers, unless they make a shit storm - then wowgo seems to shut their mouth by giving free boards or some other benefits... I'm not sure I'm willing to risk it. But then again, you can get two 3x's and still keep some money in your pocket compared to buying Boosted. 1st world problems, damn.

Got 26km on a charge hills and all and 38kmh on the school zone radar (it's 40kmh limit relax) I'm just shy of 200lbs btw - brakes and transitions well. Skipped the Vans (sorry) for some Asics Gels for these OG legs and it's all yummy. Did I mention it only arrived yest (19 days to CAN So merci for the headsup 🙏 review! Bon Voyage!

Regarding the comments around 17.20..Well they will of course look and be very similar unless you start looking deeper as they all have a deck and four wheels. Love these vids but would be even better if they could include some deeper info regarding the electrical drivtrain components used further to the spreadsheet data that is; possibly such as are they designed in-house or by another manufactrer such as hobby king, etc. and maybe any advancments/tweaks each new generation. For example I have found from comments sections that the backfire g2s/t has a much better esc pcb design that the original backfire g2 and that meant much less in the way of issues people were experiencing with damaged esc's. This would of course involve more input from the manufacturer but if it helps to build trust in a brand and means customers know the manufacturer are listening problems encountered and improving on them then that can't be a bad thing!

One difference between belt and hub motors that i never hear. The hub motors that i had (2 sets) both broke. I think if you arent riding on perfect streets, all the impacts from the cracks translate directly to the motor while belt drive has near total shock absorption thru the belts. I really wanna try the new direct drive motors

Ive never ridden or tried any electric board ur anything. The closest ive come is a hover board which wasnt a very good experience really. Wasnt bad but not good either. Id like to try an electric skateboard but dont wanna sink alot of money into one just to ride it a cpl times and put it in storage. Any advice wld b greatly appreciated

I wouldn’t recommend going the cheapest route because odds are you won’t have a good first experience. I would recommend testing a friends if you can find one or if you go the buy route, I would say have a budget of about 300 unless you buy something decent used.
