John David Jackson did a tremendous job with Algieri, he gave him the best game plan to fight a guy like Khan and he trained Algieri to fight a kind of fight that he never fought before and be effective with it against one of the top guys in his first fight at a new weight, Algieri also impressed me with his ability to fight in a new style and being effective with it. Khan won though.
Sorry to be offtopic but does someone know a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me!
Algieri wad way bigger then khan people expected khan to shut algieri completely not realizing algieri too came to fight but still khan git the win people never appreciate khan he always gives us the entertaing fights

One of my most favorite fights of all time. When the retired and experienced say "technical fight", they're talking about this match. Truly beautiful boxing!
Kim Jong-Un Had it 116-112 for Khan. I think Khan underestimatet and overlooked Algieri a little. And also was surprised with the size and new fighting style of Algieri.
Khan could have done better but he came he came in light and didn't look sharp or focused like he was against devon and collazo i think he thought I'm gonna get mayweather this fight will be a piece of cake for me to get mayweather and plus khan came light to algieri into the ring and wasn't In good shape as his last two fights.
Music Music I reckon Khan can out box that Ginger twat for about 3 or 4 rounds before he gets clipped, then its goodnight. Huge balls for taking the fight though.
Disappointing from Khan's perspective, could have had a better performance but he still deserves the mayweather fight as he can cause his problems as he has the style not saying he would beat him but at least give mayweather a run for his money!
ecko Khan almost got knocked out by Chris Algieri of all guys, Kell would murder him, Khan is good just not on Kells level. I heard Khan said, even if I don't get the May fight I'm not fighting Kell, really hate that coward, he has a million dollar fight there but chases Mayweather like a bitch.
willwork4superpowazz i don't like khan either but i could not bring myself to say he lost this fight. Chris did not almost knock him out. He hit khan with one good shot in the first round which hurt him other than that. I did not see him hurt badly once in the fight.
You have got to remember that Khan made a stupid decision to come in light into the fight at 153lbs when he would usually be 160lbs and Algieri came in at 165lbs and this made a big difference in this fight
***** Paul smith aint no bloody athlete, look at him. We are talking about Chris Algieri who is young and fit and who is a nutritionist, plus former kick boxer. Paul Smith is a 32 yr old man.
aattitude The point I am making is that, depending on who you are, you start to decline more or less once you hit past 30 years of age, and Algieri is a natural athlete and his rate of decline is not going to be as much as Paul Smith who is not.
+Anas Haq because khan said in an interview he came in 153lbs and algieri came 165lbs now in khans last 2 fights he came in 160 against alexander and 161 against collazo and that made a Hudge advantage being heavier in his last 2 fights but in this fight he was light and small and didn't look good shape as his last 2 fights.
+BoxingFan +kakaotkate101 , also, paul smith came in heavy on the day of the way in which showed a dull camp, the weight of khan and algieri on the day of the fight would be in contrast to the weight the day prior because of the weigh in. so they were both fit at at least 147 then, just a case of rehydration i think
Algieri carried the fight to Khan throughout the entire bout with effective aggression. Khan moved well and boxed well with well measured flurries . Khan countered beautifully at times but was a sucker for Algieri's overhand right that was clearly the hardest blow that algieri landed with sproadic consistency. Too bad he only put one terrific left hook combination subsequent to the tomahawk right. There is no doubt that Algieri landed the heavier blows by far & away. Algieri hurt Khan more than Khan hurt Algieri. IDK what the Compu-Punch stats are, but I think Khan probably had a slight lead that was offset by Algieri's heavier blows and effective aggression that had Khan boxing off his backfoot throughout the entire 12 Rounds. You can count on one hand how many times Khan backed up Algieri. I think Algieri deserved at the very least a Draw, but in my opinion won a close decision. Being on the attack all night long, and landing a ton of body blows should count for something. That something is a well earned victory. Khan won on reputation more than his Boxing acumen.
Tyson123 yeah, i don't know who the fuck said they thought Algieri would fold in the early rounds, if Provo and Pacman couldnt get him out of there, there is no way Khan would
+The Dream Merchant Khan has actually lost points for these actions (not in this fight ) as for mayweather...he gets a slap in the wrist, but I agree about the double standards.
Reading these comments are a joke. The only way khan would beat floyd is age. Khan hasn't improve to me as much as people want to believe. Watching this fight proves it.
Lol judging Khan based only on the Algieri fight? You guys are a bunch of fools, looks like none of ya'll watched the Alexander or Collazo fight. Casuals.
Sorry my friend khan won the fight cuz peterson was caught doping and the referees were influenced too , go back n see what happened to that fight Khan was given the belt back and he won.
Well khan, you barely beat a Chris Algieri who caught you several times with good shots and now you decide to take on Canelo? RIP Khan you just dug your own grave.
canelo almost got knock the fuck out by cottos fat brother so according to your logic canelo shouldnt have never fought cotto because cotto will destroy him R.I.P canelo. lol your a joke and dont know shit about boxing
Khan is going to jump on his bike, and haul ass in the canelo fight. He'll try to run around and score on points like mayweather did, however I think now canelo is a smarter fighter, and has improved in cutting off the ring, and will catch khan, knocking him out.
+Jam Jam before you insult somebody by calling them a fag, two words for you: spell check. Second of all, your an idiot. By shots, I meant that Algieri stunned khan several times with hard shots. Last time I checked, Pacman was not stunned as much or at all against Algieri. Khan fans, enough said.
Sup boys, Chris Algieri just made his first appearance on our boxing/food show, shows you how to make a poached egg and talks health! Check it out lemme know what you think! click channel
Khan has good head movement, good foot work, has quick hands but its clear he has a weak chin and no KO power. He won the decision here but Algieri did give him a good fight.
+TukTuk Syko You fail to realize the point here. If Algieri who has very little power at 147 can buzz Khan, imagine what Thurman, Porter, Brook do to him.
That's besides the point. Theres a reason Khan has avoided the top welterweights. He's been stopped at 140 and 135 by lesser punchers. Brook, Thurman and Porter do a number on Khan
+1 if you turned sound off to not hear what materials garments were made out of. Decision was wrong, Algieri landed more punches. This is coming from someone who loved Khan in the Olympics long ago, so grats to the win.
Chris fought with his aggressive style and amazing footwork. He never backs down and is always moving forward. He is fun to watch and hard to get on the canvas. Kahn certainly tried but seemed surprised that Chris just kept coming with relentless pressure. Chris was surprised when Kahn didn’t fade in the latter rounds. If Chris had just a little more power he could dominate most in his division. Just can’t seem to have enough to knock opponents down or out. Great fight.
When it comes to blinding hand speed, and foot speed, combination punching, excellent JAB, knows how to win rounds, excellent boxing ability and overall slick boxer with height, and reach, then you got Khan at his best...RUN FLOYD RUN!..AK48-1
Kevin Luna So why is Floyd ducking Khan, if he can beat him so easily. Khan can defo outbox and school Floyd which is why he picked Khan's sparring partner lol.
I dont think khan is being ducked at all maybe by danny garcia but not by mayweather and if you want to talk about ducking how about khan steps up against brook that would for sure put him in the mayweather sweepstakes
I thought it was clover than unanimous. 6 rounds to 5 for Khan. Algeri was landing single shots but heavier shots and he was the aggressor for most of the fight. Khan caught him with more shots though, because of his combinations. Good fight to watch.
I certainly thought the fight was closer and would agree with the first judge.Algiers fought an intelligent fight and gave Khan all he could handle. He was the more aggressive boxer and landed the harder punches. He even had Khan hurt several times whereas Khan never had him buckled.or stunned.
Canelo's a cherry picking coward. Dela Hoya and HBO are wrong for making the fight, and are just money hungry crooks. Canelo's the Middleweight 'champ' but he has to reach down 2weight classes to pick on a glass-chin welterweight --__-- ?? Smfh pathetic... Also considering all the great fights PBC are giving us every week for free, HBO & Dela Hoya still have the cheek to try charge fans PPV $$ for this garbage mismatch like they always do smh! No ones $upporting their BS, everyone will just stream it. They're selling people a circus show and I honestly believe it will be a bad night for Khan's family.
Amir Khan is a glass chinned weakling. He hasn't even managed to become champion or accomplish anything at welterweight! I mean he was even getting KO'd and dropped by guys down at 140 and 135 too --__-- lmao smh! What a joke of a fight
Once Khans disposes of Canelo I would like to see him take on Juan Manuel Marquez because stylistically it's the most intriguing matchup out there. Two masterful counterpunchers in their prime.
khan can't roll with punches, that's why he gets staggered easily, look at 7:32 the moment he gets hit, he just froze, he needs to work on his defensive reactions
*amir displayed great hand speed, head movent, and slick foot work to really counter algieri's aggresision.algeris did have success with his right hand counter or leads, and also had success in the body but did not do nearly enough to win this bout,it is clear that amir won the majority of the rounds but that being said this was still a very great fight and cant wait to see more from these two improving and skilled fighters!
Maybe it is the boxing skills of Algieri but both Pac Man and Khan got exposed win fighting him. Granted he lost both times but if you watch the fights Algieri was smack both with right hands and jabs. That told me Manny stood no chance against Floyd and the same goes with Khan. If Algieri does this to him what do you think the far more superior boxer will do?
Lmao exposed Pacquiao?? Yeah right. Algieri didn't do shit but get raped. You didn't need to watch that fight to know Pacquiaos weakness is a good boxer, aka Floyd. And comparing this fight to a Mayweather Khan fight is silly. Algieri fought a completely different style. He pressured Khan and walked him down. Khan would most likely be the aggressor against Mayweather. So it's not even close to the same thing.
Tali l who besides Algieri and Mayweather was a good boxer that posed a threat? Marquez isn't ba good boxer per say, only a counter puncher. Algieri showed it first then Money got it done.
+Vacay McFallin Pac just isn't what he used to be. That's all the Algieri fight showed me. 3 years ago Pac would KO Algieri within 5 rounds. In fact, 3 years ago Pac would have beaten Mayweather also. A past his prime Pac dropped Algieri hard and out-boxed him cleanly in all but maybe 2 rounds tops. Algieri being able to land punches doesn't mean much when Pac lands more and gets hit less and is the one doing the 6 knockdowns. Algieri just proved hard to hit early on I give him that and he's a good fighter. If Floyd did that to Algieri Floyd fans would be singing his praises but nah same thing Pac does it and you say he got exposed! LOL! But he never caused Pacquiao any problems beyond Pac being older and slower than in his prime. Pac was unscathed in both fights also because both guys were on the defensive 100% of the fights. They just needed to hope Pac wasn't what he used to be lol! I knew Pac would lose to Floyd even as a big Pac fan but it is because Pac is slowing down and past his prime not because I think he can't fight. Floyd is also a great counter-puncher and timed Pac well which is Pac's weakness. Algieri does not have the timing of Floyd or Marquez or Morales (the three legit losses on Pac's career). See so many of you guys think it is blind luck that Pac dismantled Algieri... You'll never give Pac his props of being faster and harder hitting than Algieri as well as outboxing him for most of the rounds. Meanwhile Floyd is doing IVs and retiring after losing 4 rounds to a Pac with one arm despite having the perfect style to diffuse Pac... Nuf said. Pac is at least entertaining and honest and clean. But I don't think Algieri would ever beat Pac.
Good fight, was more technical than i thought it would be, 117-111 is kinda bunkers tbh, was a lot closer than that tbh, 114-114, 115-113 type of fight, couldve gone either way, one of khan's and chris's better perfomances this one, big props
for all the fools that are comparing manny's ko to khans win on points are missing that Algieri fought a completely different fight and plus was alot more heavy! He ran from manny but took the fight to khan due to having more confidence of a ko
khan was a totaly different fighter against algieri .he did run from maidana in the later rounds but did the right thing as chiko dangerous up to final bell.would love to see brook khan.or khan pacman .
Sup boys, Chris Algieri just made his first appearance on our boxing/food show, shows you how to make a poached egg and talks health! Check it out lemme know what you think! click channel
+Armando Ramirez Yea your 100% right man I didn't think about those others guys power Khan is in all honestly waisting so much time tryna first get the Mayweather fight without fighting Top level guys to show to the fans that he belongs in the Floyd catagory of possible opponents to look out for and fans demanding for and now he's just waiting around to see if he gets Pacquiao next year he should just fight the best or atleast get rematchs vs the guys that beat him in Lamont Peterson,Prescott and Garcia for starters lol
Jesse Saucedo That's what his problem is. He wants those cash out fights that he hasn't earned. I suspect deep down inside he knows those guys would probably beat him and he doesn't want to risk the loss because he knows that all but guarantees him no shot at either Mayweather or Pacquiao.
Lol have u even watched this fight. Algeri won at most 3 rounds lol. Brook is busy fighting bums fooling casual fans like u lol heard he gonna fight a 40yr old featherfisted bundu nxt smh
Khan vs Mayweather, If Floyd mans up and picks Khan next, Khan will do TO Floyd what Floyd does to those flat footed, slow, come forward fighters. SPEED KILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Dream Merchant LOL? Alexander is a counter puncher, and he couldn't time Khan which is why Khan schooled him and outboxed him easily. Floyd is a boxer no matter how good he is, he will still get outboxed by Khan, as Khan is so difficult to outbox and outclass, Floyd can't punch so how will he win exactly?
I know this fight was several years ago but I just now watched this for the first time-I could not believe they score it for Khan-he back up all night, not one single time did he back Chris up, Chris was going after him the entire fight.
If Algieri (not known for his punching power) can rock Khan at 147, Canelo (known for his punching power) will easily KO Khan at 155. But you have to give Khan some credit for his "dare to be great" mentality.

@@KhanAli-no2yx You think a couple of sentences is an 'essay'. What a complete 🤡🤡 you are...
Khan clearly won but Algieri gave him a much harder night than he wanted. Makes it pretty impressive what Pacquiao did to Algieri one fight prior...
+gsimon123 Like comparing apples and oranges.
+George Havenhand
Manny Pacquiao = Ferrari
Amir Khan = Volvo
Orcen222 You misunderstood my comment but yours is sort of accurate too.
+gsimon123 Eh, Algieri actually had a boxing trainer and a game plan. Against Pacquiao was the worst corner job I've ever seen.
+gsimon123 Algieri performed so much better because he had a REAL trainer against khan, not one of his former kickboxing buddies training him.
Love that you upload the fights keep doing it
+Supremo if they were smart they would do it. They prob don't wanna piss off the networks though.

+khalid kayani you got to give aliegri more credit he fought in a way that made khan look good, khan didn't adjust well in this fight
You are 100 percent right . Algieri had a great fight but can had a better he won more rounds and was more dominant . Landed way more
+Elio Vasta rhe largely depended on the right hand khan controlled the fight with his jab and combos and landed less

that overhand right is the most dangerous shot for khan. so many times he doesn't see it coming.
Khan’s defence is bad
One of my most favorite fights of all time. When the retired and experienced say "technical fight", they're talking about this match. Truly beautiful boxing!
Khan Made Hard Work Of A JourneyMan
Hardly a journeyman a world champ with one loss only to Pac
115-113 Khan. Dissapointing from Khan, but he definitely won. Algieri brought it too though. AMAZING fight. Shoutout to PBC!
Kim Jong-Un
Had it 116-112 for Khan. I think Khan underestimatet and overlooked Algieri a little. And also was surprised with the size and new fighting style of Algieri.

The commentary in this bout was spot on.
Khan struggled at times against Algieri, which means that if Alvarez catches him cleanly, and he eventually will, Amir will end up in a body bag.

No ones $upporting their BS, everyone will just stream it. They're selling people a circus show and I honestly believe it will be a bad night for Khan's family.
your delusional. pacquiao has been stop more times than khan. i guess pacquiao has a the weakest jaw of all
+Amir Khan His jaw looked pretty weak when he got slept by Marquez.
+pelijah21 exactly and floyd still fought him when hes been stop 3 times
+Amir Khan khan was jumping the queue at 147 though mate
Amir Khan is a glass chinned weakling. He hasn't even managed to become champion or accomplish anything at welterweight! I mean he was even getting KO'd and dropped by guys down at 140 and 135 too --__-- lmao smh! What a joke of a fight
Once Khans disposes of Canelo I would like to see him take on Juan Manuel Marquez because stylistically it's the most intriguing matchup out there. Two masterful counterpunchers in their prime.
hahahahaha
khan can't roll with punches, that's why he gets staggered easily, look at 7:32 the moment he gets hit, he just froze, he needs to work on his defensive reactions
great fighters. love both these guys
Algeri hurt Khan again with that right in the 7th round 0:50 - 0:52 (25:08)
sqx
One of my favourite Khan wins. Competitive but class shines through.
This was at least a draw, or a one round advantage to Khan
usually you need a brawler in the ring to make a fan friendly fight. but these are two boxers, and holy shit it's very entertaining
chris algeri was doing the same thing that manny did with him on last fighg.
chris algeri us just copying the style of manny with on imran lol
really pbc? interlaced video?
idk i saw a closer fight than that
Me too. He was landing clean, a lot of Amirs quick one two wasn't landing, a lot were caught
When*
Vacay McFallin smacking*
Pacquiao to Khan is a mismatch
they were sparing partners
Khan is a great fighter.
I hope he keeps improving with age, class fighter and effin fast too.
Khan is great MASHAAALLAH
Pacquiao and Khan is set! What's your take???
Algieri got my respect
for all the fools that are comparing manny's ko to khans win on points are missing that Algieri fought a completely different fight and plus was alot more heavy! He ran from manny but took the fight to khan due to having more confidence of a ko
How many over here think Algeri was robbed?
Me!
I scored it when i watched it a long time ago, i don't remember the scoring, it was close but i had Algieri winning. No way it was Khan 117-111 imo.
Me, or a draw.
wow u people are deluded
I think Algieri is just better than most people realize. We'll see what he can do at the welterweight division in the future; he's still young.
Algieri actually thought he won the fight 😭😂😂😂😂😂
lol
khan was a totaly different fighter against algieri .he did run from maidana in the later rounds but did the right thing as chiko dangerous up to final bell.would love to see brook khan.or khan pacman .
Khan still won 8-4
More I watch the fight more I see Algieri not losing this fight. A draw will be fair.
Make it happen khan vs mayweather
I just notice Algieri is fighting off that Hitman Style..
respect for algeiri ..
Man, khan with a stronger chin woulda been a problem for these welterweights.
@13:16 OHH! lmao
Chris Algieri got really good. Respect to Algieri.
I had it much closer
I was looking for Khan academy algebra. wrong place
Aligieri take some drugs for this fight
Lol
Cocaine's a helluva drug
Sup boys, Chris Algieri just made his first appearance on our boxing/food show, shows you how to make a poached egg and talks health! Check it out lemme know what you think! click channel
interesting how both these guys trainers are the trainers of andre ward and sergey kovalev
Dam Algieri almost knocked down Khan in the first round lol..man he does have a glass chin LMAO..Imagine when Thurman gets his ass
+Jesse Saucedo Any of the likes of Thurman, Brook, Spence, Garcia again, would all knock Khan out. Dude's chin is TERRIBLE. Lol
+Armando Ramirez
Yea your 100% right man
I didn't think about
those others guys power
Khan is in all honestly waisting so much time
tryna first get the Mayweather fight without fighting Top level guys to show to the fans
that he belongs in the
Floyd catagory of possible
opponents to look out for
and fans demanding for
and now he's just waiting
around to see if he gets Pacquiao next year
he should just fight the best or atleast get rematchs vs the guys that beat him
in Lamont Peterson,Prescott and Garcia for starters lol
Jesse Saucedo That's what his problem is. He wants those cash out fights that he hasn't earned. I suspect deep down inside he knows those guys would probably beat him and he doesn't want to risk the loss because he knows that all but guarantees him no shot at either Mayweather or Pacquiao.
Imagine what Canelo's gonna do to Khan lol
+Armando Ramirez lol pacquiao has been stopped more times than khan your logic is garbage
Algieri won this, Khan sucks the true brit champion is Kell Brook, Brook deserves the Mayweather fight.
Lol have u even watched this fight. Algeri won at most 3 rounds lol. Brook is busy fighting bums fooling casual fans like u lol heard he gonna fight a 40yr old featherfisted bundu nxt smh
Personal Trainer Finder
go find a personal trainer
+willwork4superpowazz Lol i would give it a draw, Algeri did better though he just didnt know ho to finnish.
Do u smoke crack ?
chris was robbed
algieri beat khan 115-113 for sure...
Слава Богу! Здравствуйте! У Хана, был один минус на ринге, стеклянный подбородок! Спасибо!
Do we have a Chris Algieri post-rehydration weight to go off? Imagine how much bigger Canelo will be? Walks around a like 180 or something

115-113 Khan
116-112 Khan but Algieri was more impressive to me.
Khan vs Mayweather, If Floyd mans up and picks Khan next, Khan will do TO Floyd what Floyd does to those flat footed, slow, come forward fighters. SPEED KILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nabz mo Timing beats speed!!!
The Dream Merchant Tell that to Collazo and Alexander, they'll tell you otherwise, causal fan.
Nabz mo Once again, timing beats speed. Collazo and Alexander don't have the timing of Floyd or even JMM.
Nabz mo Floyd is faster than Khan....
good fight, it just goes to show how good pac is?
pac is a legend . but as you can see here algieri improved so much. I think it's Becasue of his new trainer .
I really dont see how Hunter has improved Khan hes exactly the same as when Freddy trained him.
But you have to give Khan some credit for his "dare to be great" mentality.
you cut off the part where amir khan sliped and fell on his butt before one of their next rounds.
Algieri won this fight on affective aggression.
al hayman is the least seen but most talked about person in sport... he is a class act in comparison to leaches like don king
Al haymon vs don king
Who wins?
i have to admit i like amir khans technique ,reflexes, and form he is a swift hitter and lands a lot of shots
whatcan energetic fight. both fought with heart
there's no way he can beat pacquiao with that kind of fight khan....you did'nt even hurt algieri...
Algieri has a sick logo although it looks like it should be a logo for California
one of the best fights tbh. better than Floyd vs Manny.
