  • Xenharmonic bass music ~ from Sevish's album Bubble [2021]
    Is there a certain topic you'd like me to make a video about? I'm open to suggestions.
    There are new musical projects that I'm already working on. It takes me a while to finish things because I also have a full time job to manage. Right now things are going okay.

    I love this!
    I'm curious if you or anyone you know does atonal microtonality? I think the things that make music musical are often sacrificed in atonality, but I don't think that has to always be the case. I believe a marriage of progressing atonal algorithms and traditional resolution ideas could work beautifully in microtonal compositions.
    Thank you for your music!!

    Really nice use of the 11/8 and 11/5 approximations available in 22-edo. Intervals with 11 as a prime factor seem to produce a pretty distinctive kind of tingling in my head. It's kind of similar to the effect that 7 has, but there's something more delicate about it.

    • @Sevish
      @Sevish  3 года назад +2

      Yeah actually I do have some thoughts on naming tracks... I think it's unfortunate that every single track must be assigned a name. Because to me these tracks capture some feeling or impression I was working towards. These feelings usually lack a specific meaning, and I hesitate to assign a name or meaning to such things after the fact, so I often choose deliberately vague names to avoid enforcing any specific interpretation. I hope this allows the piece of music to represent itself. Though for sure a few of my tracks carry some special meaning to me.
