The song always gave me that feeling of being welcomed at a futuristic hotel. This video looks like it's showcasing its "gardens". Of course, I'm loving it 👍
mannnn this is such an iconic track.. It just feels so different from other xen songs for some reason.. This is definitely one of my favorite songs of yours :)
I want to work on microtonal stuff so bad, but can't figure out how to get it to work with Pro Tools :( so I'll just continue enjoying your stuff, dude!
According to the description, 22edo+ means that the piece is mainly in regular 22edo, but the lead synth plays in a different, arbitrary tuning, therefore adding extra notes within the octave that 22edo doesn't necessarily cover.
It could sound interesting and 42 is a nerdy meme... In Douglas Adams' "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", a supercomputer is built to calculate the answer to "life, the universe and everything" and it's 42. I think Adams originally wrote some novels containing that story, but there's also a BBC audiobook-production from the 60s or 70s (which is the version I know) and I believe a film/TV-series. I think the whole thing is pretty funny and if you got the time worth checking out. (There are some crazy theories why he chose that particular number, see Wikipedia of 42...) Btw, your music is great!
What chords are he playing if someone could tel me in dum dum terms. I don’t understand what 110.1, or 234,0, means. Break it down for a ree ree head like me please?

Their 4d gardens if you will
Me playing around with the world generation settings be like:
You could make a song that starts at 1edo and gradually goes up to like 50+ edo over the course of time
I like that!
1edo?
@@strangelaw6384 Neainaz Antithetica, Theme is a good example of what you can do with 1edo
A channel has made 31 songs from 1edo to 31edo.
Sevish could make a song that starts at 0edo and gradually goes up to 31edo or 53edo.
@@yatyayat are you aware that 1edo is just one note or were you being sarcastic towards me
"I'm just trying to cross the desert, man."

This is it! A beautiful microtonal desert emulated in my own free mind!
When you eat the wrong suspicious stew.
So few likes, eh. 22edo sounds great, why didn’t this end up like Gleam video? How do we force the algorithm to show this one to more people?
Love• love •LOVE• 93°

how many years you've been doing this man... I remember when I first discovered your music!

Yeah, What Year Is This is 19 (for the first half) and I'm sure I did another one
Thanks @@Sevish !!!

He has a tutorial on RUclips. Look it up.
@@greatwavefan397 The functional part of what I said was "with Pro Tools". I've seen the tutorials.
Can you elaborate on 22edo+, and how it differs from normal 22edo? Is it just like a stretched octave?
According to the description, 22edo+ means that the piece is mainly in regular 22edo, but the lead synth plays in a different, arbitrary tuning, therefore adding extra notes within the octave that 22edo doesn't necessarily cover.
Yep that's right
I missed that part before lol
@@SevishOut of curiosity, which scale(s) is the lead synth playing in?
Edit: Oops, I should've read the description first.
How is this visual made? Is it some procedural generation in blender, or what program do you use?
Mandelbulber
Really good track
Ever try to have someone sing lyrics to one of your songs?
Hasn't happened yet but could be fun
is it technically lyrics if you add a voiceover
I’ve played soprano saxophone over a 19EDO track I made if that counts 😅😅😅
Almost looks like it was made in Unity
Hello! I would like to make a remix of this, do i have your permission?
What does the + symbolize?
22edo is the main tuning system here but one instrument is in a different tuning. More details in the description ☺️
What about something in 42 edo?
Haven't tried it, any reason in particular?

Why does it sound so 12edo? Did I already listen to that much weirder microtonal music?
This one is definitely on the familiar 12ish end of micro, not the weird end at all :)
