Not really. You can have excellent credit like I do (835 credit score) but what creditors really look at, is your DTI (debt-to-income) ratio. THAT is what makes or breaks you. I only make about $35K annually, and I've been turned down for several refinancing loans of less than $12K.

I was working homeless in gainesville florida. They give drug addicts and prison people placed to live. Workers live in their cars .thank god moved to denver got 2 jobs at 19 an hour.
The way I see this is every county government at the same raised the price of houses for more taxation. Then the insurance companies raised their rates. Then add in the Airbnb and Verbo houses and there are less houses to rent or buy with prices working people cannot afford. Why did the county governments do this? What play book are they using? I feel they will be not happy until the United States ends up like Venezuela. This is what they want.
As someone who lived in Orlando and was homeless. There is no help for us there. I had to move to Rhode island to get help. Most the homeless in Orlando are druggies and addicts.

Floridas been having a huge homeless crisis for a long time most people didn’t get to see it because we have so so much wooded areas and that’s where they been living but now it has come into plain view and it’s bad. But this has been a big problem. Also sex offenders lots of them living in the woods. Florida has crazy amounts of sex offenders . But you barely see anything about it on the news . No one’s talking about it. I also noticed that not all crimes are being reported someone told me it’s because they want to keep people moving here And for tourism. And it’s the truth. They aren’t reporting all the crime. Get your car broken into they tell you basically too bad. They don’t even bother with fingerprints or checking neighbors surveillance they really don’t give a crap.

Problem: there are so many people who need help with housing, but not enough affordable housing to go by. Fewer and fewer landlords are accepting Section 8 anymore.

The non profits get money from the government and other donations, spend some of it on enabling the homeless and the majority on themselves.
