As someone that has used Asics running and trail hiking shoes for several years I can definitely attest to quality of their products. As well as the effort they out into design and functionality in terms of comfort and foot health. Asics is a criminally underrated sports brand.

I believe its the regular xfly 5 due to watching his video on the limited edition colorway he did a while back.
That's a tough one mate, both are very good! I'll probably need a bit more time in this one to make sure I have a good understanding of it before making a call

Just recently bought the standard DS light X-Fly 5 to replace both my Nike Tiempo Legend 9 and DS light X-fly 4 to rotate with my Mizuno Morelia 2 MiJ. all in all I’ve been enjoying them and the comfort is just ridiculously amazing. Asics on their football product again is just really really good. Again their football department definitely should return to the European and North American markets.

I got one but across model(synthetic version).Feel realy well with agility and fit super comfort.These boots absolutely fantastic for me.Not overpriced compare to adidas nike etc brand.

Question. Do your toes not hurt with no space inside the cleats? My right is bigger than left and it’s right up against the leather in one of my cleats and the joints are sore as if it’s taking blunt impact. Annoyingly I’m a lefty and my left is smaller so it fits perfect and going a half size up would be too lose on the left. Do you just get used to the pain or discomfort or what?
Sometimes, but it goes away with break in time. I'd rather they be tight straight out of the box so I get get the perfect fit after some break in time

Just wondering why professional soccer players are not wearing asics soccer cleats? I’m guessing cause ASICS doesn’t have the budget for a big marketing campaign like Nike and Adidas or Puma
Because Asics doesn't have the budget to pay athletes to sponsor them as much as some of the other brands 🫡
Have you tried this or the previous gen on AG? I like the look for the stud pattern but I’m not sure if the nylon mesh will get torn up or not

They're very similar and both excellent mate. The Morelia also comes in 3 variations, so depends on what you're trying to compare it to.

Idk if I'd recommend always going half size down. Shame people can't try them on. I had the x fly pro 1 true to size. And the toebox didn't stretch out for me nice enough bit too narrow. Strangely the neo 4 beta mizuno fits perfectly

Im stunned you went half a size down compared to the last generation of the xfly pro.
I know in the red ones you went true to size and on top of that I was expecting a one month review on those. In addition, you said they didn’t fit your foot well, thus you said they wouldn’t make it for a 1 month review.
Interested to see if these will fit and feel better for you than the last gen due to having wide feet and going half a size smaller!
