thats a bit of a stretch, abel only helped with 4 of the songs and an interlude from take care which were "shot for me", "crew love", "cameras/good ones interlude", "practice", "The ride". take care had 18 songs with 2 bonus tracks aswell but the influence abel had to the style of that album definetly propelled it even more. Calling it Abels album is just incorrect, but the weeknd did give alot of his songs he was planning for house of balloons, which means house of balloons couldve been bigger.

You know whats funny? Starboy was a song about how the weeknd got famous. The funny thing is in jamaican slang, being a Starboy aint a good thing; Its when youre drawing attention in the office and is often said as an insult.

He got blown up, whether by society, whether by who he was signed with, and he hates the system for it. They were a Scottish duo that had a really awesome West Coast sound, and sounded almost like Eminem in his Slim Shady days, they were crazy and chaotic like Slim Shady - but they were Scottish and nobody wanted to sign Scottish rappers so they re recorded everything in an American accent, ended up getting a deal from Sony, but got it all taken back after they found out they were fake. I don’t understand how that’s different from Drake.
