I am so glad it is helping. That was my purpose to try to help someone else as it can be a scary journey the unknown so I try to cover all things or questions that someone might be wondering as they go thru this journey. I broke my ankle and all metatarsal bones 4 months ago which required surgery. It still hurts, like a twisted ankle, but Voltaren cream really helps with the pain. Since one of the nerves was over-stretched, I now have hypersensitivity and less feeling at the bottom of my foot and the toe flexor muscles seem weaker, eventhough it's seems to get slowly better. How long did it take you to see improvement with your nerve damage and what were your symptoms? Did you have weakness as well and did it get better and howl long did it take? Thank you and get well.

Oh my, so sorry to hear about your break. It is definitely not a thrill ride to recovery. I am glad that you are finding some relief with Voltaren sounds like you might have some arthritis issues going on with it as well. Yes, the pain relief for your nerve damage and the healing will be a slow process. However, if you soak it either with Epsom salt with some essential oils or with the Indian tribe clay that I talk about, along with using the Topricin for the top and bottom part of your foot/ankle you will see results faster. I learned this late in my recovery. So every month it got better for me. However, I will have to say not until this year which is year 4 of my recovery for me that the soreness is not a thing anymore. Although I still have stiffness. My symptoms were soreness, stiffness, tenderness, hurt to walk. Sometimes shooting pains. As long as you are persistent with trying to heal from within instead of just topical. Your recovery will be quicker. Remember to drink plenty of water and hot green tea no sugar will help alot. I learned this late in my journey. This is why I am trying to share so no one as has to go thru a long recovery. Thank You for the Well Wishes and You Got This! Feel free to ask any more questions if you have them. I will definitely respond.

@@happyscorpion11 Thank you, I appreciate that. BTW, was your skin darker once you removed the cast? My skin was macerated and kept peeling off for several weeks. I also had massive hematomas in my foot. Now the skin in that area seems darker than on the other, healthy foot. I read it could be hemosiderosis, i.e. iron deposits from the blood that seeped into the skin due to the trauma, which will take months to go away. If you had this as well, how long did it take to go back to normal?

@Seeker_of_sense You are very welcome. No, my skin was not darker and I did not have hemosiderosis. However, you might want to make sure you have good blood circulation in your foot/ankle. You might want to even ask for a leg doppler test to be done to check your blood flow.

@tammiephillips8531 Oh that is Awesome!! That you are able to walk with no boot. Yes, it will be a slow process, but just keeping walking as much as you can that is the way to help your ankle keep improving over time. If still painful are you able to take any kind of over-the-counter pain medicine. I took 2 aleve and one tylenol for awhile to get thru the pain and soreness. I also soaked my feet and still ice it from time to time as well as rubbed with pain cream/ointment that I talk about in my videos. Definitely make sure you are drinking 2 to 4 cups of hot green tea with no sugar every day and drinking plenty of water. You Got This!!

@@tammiephillips8531 Yes, that use to happen to me as well and when it did I used to ice my ankle for maybe 5 to 10 minutes while I was laying down and had it elevated. Then, also, soak your ankle in epsom salt water and/or use some of the products that I talk about in the video. Keep at it though! You are doing good!
