How to get to Vilnius from the airport? Lithuanian railways.

- Vilnius airport is just a bit more than 6 kilometers away from Vilnius city centre or Vilnius Old Town.
You can reach the city using both public transport or taxi I prefer the train.
You can find the public transport schedules at the exit of the airport (you will see blue screens with train and bus schedules).
VILNIUS AIRPORT TO CITY BY TRAIN
There’s a modern train going from the airport to the central train station approximately every 40-60 minutes and takes only 7-9 minutes to reach the main train station.
There is a footway leading from the railway stop from the airport terminal for passengers; the footway has an installed gallery (it is illuminated during the dark time of the day).
Next to the airport passenger terminal, there is a railway stop, stairs and an elevator for passengers as well as lighting and passenger safety surveillance camera.
The ticket costs EUR 0.80. It can be purchased online, in the train and at the railway station. Also, there are screens with timetables near the exits of Vilnius airport.
I appreciated the video because I am able to see parts of Lithuania and Poland that are rarely shown on other channels. Also like trains.
Well, you modestly kept silent that the train was produced in Russia on Metrovagonmash in Mytishchi and it is called RA-2. At 4:08 a.m., you can see the emblem perfectly. The use of a diesel train in the electrified section is also surprising.

Благодарю за интересный контент. Состав построен не в Польше, а в России на Мытищинском вагоностроительном заводе - эмблему завода в виде буквы М с крыльями видно на носу состава. Знаю, что они есть в Литве в небольшом количестве, но на этом маршруте никогда не встречал - обычно между вокзалом и аэропортом Вильнюса мне попадается польская одновагонная PESA 620M.
Спасибо за информацию. Мне пришлось впервые прокатиться на этой модели поезда.

I personally think, LTG Link put a lot of money in infrastructure and their trains, especially the trains on longer routes such as Vilnius - Klaipeda, they mostly use Pesa-Link-ML730 on the route and they are the best trains in lithuania

Какие лю...то есть поезда. Наконец-то литовский РА-2 засветился на видео, а то о нем ничего и слышно не было. Нвдо сказать, минут 30 на нем вполне нормально ехать, а вот дальше в теплую погоду начнутся "внезапности"🥴

Bin mir net so ganz sicher, aber meines Wissens diese Züge werden in Kaliningrad hergestellt. Wenn ich die Fahrzeiten ansehe ist der Zug ist alles anders als Konkurrenzfähig. Der Aufzug ist zwar da, aber die Bahnsteig ist gefühlt 20 Meeeeeeter zu tief: richtig Barrierefrei. Es sollte ein elektrifizierter Niederflurzug im mindestens 20 Min Takt fahren. Es gibt aber Vieles, was mich bei LTG vernünftig. aufregt. Ich habe ein Mal da am Bahnhof um die 40 Minuten rumgegammelt, und dann doch für den Bus entschieden. Danke für nichts. Na mindestens ein Video, das den Zug nachweist :D :D

Me he suscrito por que estoy pensando en viajar al este de Europa y no tengo claro que país ya que hacer un tour por Polonia es mi preferencia Budapest tambien me gusta y veo que tus videos traspasas frontera. No soy especialmente viajero de tren pero creo que es un medio de transporte eficiente entre ciudades relativamente cercanas, gual es un poco más lento que el avíon pero en el global entre controles de seguridad, tiempo de espera y llegar a los aeropuertos no creo que sea mucho más y el plus es que estas en el centro de las ciudades y el precio es bueno. Me gustan tus videos por toda la información al detalle y me has echo cambiar mi visión y mis alternativa. GRACIAS

Siuo metu jau kuris laikas vazineja ra2 anksčiau dirbęs Radviliškio Klaipėdos linija
Ačiū kad parašėte koks modelis, kažkaip neatkreipiau dėmesio. Galvojau tai lenkų gamybos, bet tai rusų gamybos.
