@1:53 You nailed it with this comment! I want to see it sitting beside the HP4 RACE to see which one looks more like a full blown GP race bike. I really believe this is going to take the HP4 Race!!!!
5:07-5:27 This needs to be talked about more, especially BMW's top tier model! I know you said you don't want to start a slew of comments down here but this needs to be talked about so that potential future owners of these machines know what they are getting into. I love my 2022 M 1000RR but during my first year of ownership I've had problems and the bike is currently at the dealership again, this time for over a month, going through another BMW Warranty claim. The first warranty claim went through and took about 4 months to get the engine replaced. I did not and will not modify my bike with tunes like most people do which I'm thankful that I didn't otherwise my warranty would be nulled and I wouldn't have gotten the engine replaced for free. I bought my M thinking it could be my forever bike my Dreambike but, lately it has been a nightmare to own. I hate that I love it because I really don't want to get rid of it but I also bought the motorcycle so I can ride it! For the first year about half the time of ownership has spent its life on a lift at the dealership. I love the BMW brand but my experience so far with the 2022 M 1000RR has been testing my patience.
@@Motomillion the short answer to that is no, fortunately. The first time I noticed low oil level in the sightglass was around the 4-5,000mile mark which i brought up during a service appointment. The mechanic began the documentation process to submitting an oil consumption case by taking pictures etc. Then the oil level was topped off and I was told to monitor the level after every ride for the next 1,000 miles. With the miles put on I returned to the dealership and the mechanic & I checked the sighglass which dropped to the very bottom edge of the window. He then proceeded to slowly add oil in and turns out it only burned roughly 400ml's. It was a relief for me to hear him say that such a minor amount of loss in 1,000 miles falls within the spec of consumption. Apparently some of BMW's bigger bikes like the K1600 can burn through up to an entire Qt per 1,000 miles per spec on those. Since oil consumption wasn't a major concern for me I continued riding while still monitoring the level periodically. Daily riding to and from work, longer rides on weekends. My bike hasn't seen the track as well, most spirited riding was on open highways. Now the unfortunate part is that the engine only survived another 1,500ish miles after this. Without getting into the details too much the engine was replaced, rev limiter put back on and I was told to perform 600-700 break in miles and to once again monitor oil level after every ride since it was a new motor. 700 miles were put on and I brought the bike in to remove the limiter and change the oil. Shortly after leaving the dealership while on the highway I could feel something was wrong, it felt like the limiter was still on but this time around the 9k-10k rpm mark. Pulled over to explain the symptoms and the fact that the yellow box error code "onward journey possible..." was lit up on the dash to the mechanic. Almost immediately the mechanic assumed that the shift cam solenoids were to blame and said to bring her back to the shop. That was over a month ago and I still don't know whats wrong with the bike today. The dealership is amazing & trying their best but, dealing with the BMW side for warranty stuff goes at a snails pace unfortunately. I do appreciate people like you putting out great content for the motorcycle community. Videos like yours help ease the withdrawals I'm experiencing from being without my machine for so long.

I really like the front fender set up looks amazing but personally that front wing is just over the top I think the aero on the gp bikes is outta control and they shouldn’t go too far with it to where it doesn’t look proportionate imo
Have you seen it in person yet? We were torn by seeing photos/videos, but in person we think it looks really nice! And the 22 model is still definitely beautiful and iconic
I just wish they'd make those asymmetrical headlights once again that's looked sick af. Like a living animal somehow. This design looks more normal & bike so perfect as s1000rr needs abnormality in looks.
I know what you mean when u said too many M logos.. i come from a country where there was more M cars on the roads that actually left the bmw factory 😂 for me this bike would look sick just plain carbon everywhere. Cant wait to see whats next 👏
Surely BMW should have thought about a mesh grille for that gaping hole? Isn’t it dangerous, i’m going to assume that thing can swallow a pigeon whole and I’m not so sure it will fair well for the either the bike or the pigeon
We still believe the NRC is the best option. For the 2023 S1000RR and M1000RR it is redesigned and even slimmer, but still offers the great visibility that we would want from any fender eliminator in terms of the actual visibility of the lights (brakes and turn signals)
@@Motomillion Totally agree with you here Mani. Not to mention the TST rears look cheap and tacky... There's a shop here in the UK called Halfords that does rubbish quality, for the masses "mods" for cars. The TST's remind me of that kind of stuff
I will stick with the S1K M until the difference with the M1000rr actually worth the difference in pricing. The S1K electronic suspension makes it a better road bike for sure. Also this M going down at the track will be disastrous with those one piece wings 💸 💰. Thankyou for the video Mani.

The winglets are no doubt functional, but any way to reduce the appearance of the winglets would be a positive move. The solid line across the top of those winglets is the worst part, and distracts from the sly eyes provided by the headlights.
So this is my opinion, at first it looks like a hammerhead shark, way too much bodywork, as we go around I see the belly pan area is missing at the rear exposing the exhaust catalyst. Then I spotted the fat unsculpted seat. Then the seat subframe looks out of date. Taken from a classic ducati 748. The swingarm looks wrong in silver and undeveloped look. Compared to some areas. Too much carbon. The design is shambles typically German. In other words it is an M5 as to a Ferrari 488 which would have been a Panigale.
