That is the most impressive tool presentation I've ever seen.

You know what’s most telling here? Owners and potential buyers, asking questions and posting concerns in the comments… and zero replies from anyone at Triton.
    Speaks volumes.

They are powerful but are notorious for having switch and electrical issues

Hello, I have the 3,5 type triton. Very good product. I must say that the block system for changing bits , not always work…. I have mounted this router on the router table of triton… the same problem happen here too. But, good stuff

You have to turn the switch on the router to the off position to make the arbor lock work. Kind of a nuisance if router in a router table.

@@JakeSpeed1000 Yes, oké, I did. But I mentioned “not always” after many tryouts It works….later on….problem again.
The router mount under the triton table makes a lot of dirt ofcourse, so I cleaned it everytime. It seems better now.
Many thanks for your reply, greetings Jan

Hi Matt, I have a TRA001 mounted permanently under a router table. Problem I have is when I release the Locking Lever to make a fine adjustment, the bit drops down a bit, making it very difficult to make a quick fine adjustment. Is there a solution to this?

Hi Matt, I liked your video very much. Now I get the feeling you are in the States, and I am in the UK, where I must say, the aftersales is not that good. So I wonder if you can help me ?
I have a TRA001, and for ten years it has never let me down a truly great router. Until now. The automatic spindle lock has stopped activating, and as it's table mounted, it's a damn pain in the.... Now my question is: Have you ever come across this problem, and/or would you know how to fix it ? I get the feeling that the only way to get to it is by unscrewing the small screw beside it's housing, but I am reluctant to do this as the 'manual' such as it is, doesn't even mention it.
I apologise for rambling on, but any help you could offer would be most appreciated.
BTW, your work looks amazing. Kind Regards, Bernie SW Wales UK 👍👍

I have seen the collets section is also including both MOF (larger collets) and TRA (smaller collets). But this can be incorrect.

I have a MOF001 and use a 1/2" collet with it. I'm in Europe so I had to buy it separately though. The JOF001, MOF001 and TRA001 all use the same collets.

Don't try to order one from Beaver Industrial Supply. They will let you believe it's in stock and ready to ship, take your money, and then leave it up to you to call and find out that the item is backordered.

This piece of crap has broken twice in the 4 years I have owned it and the replacement part has been unavailable for 6 months. I’ve gone to Bosch .
