Great review Kenny! That is a really nice looking SUV and a great deal for a loaded biggish ride. Keep the great reviews coming and hoping you are doing great!
I just traded in my 2021 Telluride this week and got this exact Sorrento & trim. I was worried I’d regret that decision, but I’m loving my sporty/rugged Sorrento! It is smaller than the Telluride but I’d say it’s definitely more maneuverable and faster. 😅 also, tons more features!
For those safety minded individuals, I used to work at a Kia Dealership in 22-23, had a customer come in. She said she was there for a Sorento and would look at nothing else. When I asked why, she told me how she had a Sorento, got hit on the highway and sent flipping, and survived with naught but some scratches. I was the salesman, but she sold me that day.
I used mine all the time in my KIA Seltos lease, and now in my Hyundai Tucson lease. I feel it helps me to be an even safer driver than I already am. I have used it for so long now, that I know its strengths and weaknesses. The strengths outweigh the weaknesses for me. I think most people don’t really like it though.
X-line, the only significant difference is the tires. X pro might absorb bumps every so slightly better, but turns and control will be significantly better on the road due to the larger wheels/rims and shorter tire sideways
703Speed, since you said you are partial to BMW as it has a special place in your heart, if someone were to give you either x3m40i or x4m40i, would you still pursue your goal to get their respective full M version? Or would you be satisfied with the M sport ?
Ahhhhh. I mean if someone gave me an x3 m40 I would be very thankful, but also very happy with it. At least for a few years.. It would be a lot better than what I daily drive now (07' Honda). But, me being young, I would still pursue the true M car at some point. The BMW M cars are just sooo good. But the M40i is definitely a better daily because the suspension isn't as harsh as the true M. Hope this helps
With all those details and the length of this video, you should include a 0-60 mph test. You should also find some open highway away from traffic so we can see open road driving.
@haciendadad You're new here, right? Did anyone say anything about racing? A 0-60mph is pretty standard. Check out some other reviews before you say another stupid thing. 🤷♂️🤦♂️🙄🤣
I don’t like lane features either. I recently rented a Mazda SUV and after being jerked around so much, I had to pull over and figure out how to turn that mess off 😂😂😂
@@jnmc-vx4fw Why would anyone purchase a vehicle based on what may or may not happen when they get rid of it. Vehicles are not investments my an stretch.
@@Ricky-mo6mv ummmm everyone but you I guess. Unless you’re keeping the car you buy till it dies, and in the case of a Kia or Hyundai that won’t be long. The car you buy is going to be traded in , why would you buy a car , make payments and when it’s time to get a new car, want to get 50% less trade in value then buying a Toyota or Lexus. That’s just ridiculous and throwing thousands of dollars away. But I guess that’s you.
Kia sorento's have nice interior and nice tech the problem is they have a lot of problems with their engines always hundreds of thousands of recalls I think the 8-speed transmission does no justice for the four cylinder turbo if they switch to 6 cylinder like Mazda kill would be unstoppable I very seldom see somebody driving a Sorrento only selective people drive them because of the drivetrain problems I see Mazda's Mercedes Toyota's Hondas 24/7 I very seldom in California see a Kia Sorento
😂 All manufacturers have recalls. Did you not see the news that Toyota is replacing around 100 thousand engines in the way overpriced tundra and landcruiser? Remember honda's gas in oil snafu? Ford's crappy ecoboost engines?
Nope they messed it up putting that ugly Kia logo badge on the hood instead of the grill. The hood in any new vehicle should be free from an ugly company logo. Hope the 2025 looks more up to date on the outside without a hood logo.

I like this much better than the Telluride, which is getting a bit stale IMO.

Yeah of course Kenny, & this is my top pick.
Yessirrr
thank you for doing this. good luck on ur channel. ur doing a great job on it
Thank you :)
Hey great video! Sorento is my favorite KIA! I test drove a ‘24 Sonata N-Line today with the same 2.5L Turbo and it was a blast to drive!!
These things can be surprisingly quick sometimes lol
Kenny, your reviews set the standard so high! Thanks.
Thank you :)
I don't like the "lane keep assist" feature either . . I've owned my Envision for over three years, and have never turned it on.
I never like it in any vehicle.. Way too intrusive - almost feels dangerous at times

Great video very thorough!!!
It has an Escalade vibe
I would choose Telluride with more space and N/A engine. Great review as always. Greetings
Thumbs up. Nice driver. Was this thier minivan? Keep up good reviews. Peace bro
No, the Carnival is their minivan. As far as minivans go, it's pretty sweet
Amazing video Kenny.
Thanks bro
Between the X-Line and the X-Pro , which one has a better ride quality and NVH on highways?

Does this model have any ambient interior lighting?

I'm sure the dealership would not appreciate racing their car for the sake of some RUclipsr's video.

Looking to find a rack system for this roof rack with the sunroof . Any recomendarions woukd be helpful
No heads up display why.
How many secs does it take a 2023 / 2024 Kia Sorento Prestige Turbo to reach 60mph ??
Is DCT transmission used in the 1.6 Turbo-Hybrid engine?
When will we see the hybrid?
Can the lane keeping system be turned off since you don't like it?
Yes
It sure looks comfortable to drive.
It is
This or the Mazda CX50?
Definitely this. Especially if you value/need more space of course. From what I have read, people really aren’t that thrilled with the CX-50 either.

Thinking of getting this car. Anyone say it’s definitely worth it?
Just bought me one, fucking love it!
@@xBEASTx22xMODEx picked one up a few days ago. It’s absolutely worth every penny.
Why does Kia use the yellow daytime running lights…? It’s awful
Just dont insult the Acura like that please!!!
It’s a Kia, or Hyundai but not a Toyota or Honda
True
That’s the beauty of it.
@@Ricky-mo6mv good luck with that, especially trading it in
