I bought the Planeswalker Party commander from Masters and swapped Narset for the commander and let me tell you, the ability to drag a game back from almost dead to back in the game is insane. I'm hoping that now that we have Jeskai's Ascendancy we might see a Kykar, Wind's Grace deck with Invasion of Segovia. It's got all my favourite stuff; tokens, control, and lots of triggers
you lucked out not seeing it much, i saw it at least 3 times a day since Tarkir dropped, concede before they even decide on mulligans cuz i not playin anything sweaty enough to deal with her. Can't wait till she's been played enough to get put in to the hell queue
Honestly in a 1v1 format she’s not that great. You can do some pretty silly things with her if the opponent lets you get that far. But quite often that doesn’t happen. Go wide token decks are the bane of her existence.

I appreciate that the intro is back. I'm not very good at Magic so I think it's nice to get a basic explanation of what the deck is trying to do. I also like that the content is specificaly made for RUclips. I feel more involved when the Twitch chat isn't there. As to wich commander to sugest, I would like to se some sort of mill. I know it would be janky and not very good. But it would be a fun thing to pull off.
The game against Zurgo and Ojutai was one of the only games on CGB's channel that I actually wanted the opponent to win, right from the start 😅 It's just that Zurgo and Ojutai is one of my favourite cards and whenever I see it I always root for the player using it 😁

Trailblazers boots would be solid considering how many decks have blockers for her as shown in the video. And because i wouldnt suggest a card without suggesting what to take out, probably spikefield hazard or jwari disruption

I watched half (one game) and... that guy had the patience of an angel! I would have quit as soon as the first rope happened... Honestly, I hate such decks - take loads of your time away and you only wait and wait and watch how the opponent picks and chooses the favorite cards, only to slowly kill you within the next 15-20 mins, rarely giving you chance to play. These are the only decks against which it is not worth to play imo, even if you were to win at some point. I'd take mill and mono red over this any time of the day lol
Watched the intro, as always. Also, I gotta say I live for the brawl content. I religiously watch your standard stuff so I can learn, but the brawl vids are like candy I can't get enough. I think it's because the wildcard barrier for entry looks so high, I don't want to try, so instead I just absorb the brawl format vicariously through you. It's obvious from these vids how much fun it is.
I miss you explaining cards and completing ideas/going over choices in deck building. Even though I am familiar with the commander and the type of style you are going for, it is nice to hear it on other things as well. You have come a long way from where you started and it is noticed :)
In the days before Modern Horizons my competitive deck of choice was Narset Reanimator; T1 pitch Narset to yard, T2 bring her back for a turn with Goryo's Vengeance and swing. Hit an extra attack spell or two, and just keep on attacking. Anytime I see her getting some love, it's an easy Like.
Great, thanks CGB. Didn't have any problem beating Narset since it dropped. But they were all built badly, and now you just gave them the right cards 😢. I forgive you tho, you're just doing your job. I just wish you weren't so good at it 😊

I am trying a little bit more creature removal (get lost, fateful absense in) Escape velocity instead of boots Dont think A-Alrund's Epiphany is worth 7 mana (out) Sublime Epiphany will never make a token (out) I tried chance for glory (didn't work) Testing Mazemind tome instead of Reckoner Bankbuster Elspeth Conquers Death, hard to use 3rd mode (out) Considering fable out Smothering Tithe out, don't think it's that much good for 1x1 frost dragon and Hall of Storm Giants, out, dont think they are worth the trouble.

Coming back here again after two months. Anybody planning on building this: Samut's Sprint. 1 mana haste enabler plus a scry, lets you set up the top of your library for Narset's attack.

My version plays Lithoform Engine and I recommend anyone trying this deck to do the same. Either copying Narsets ability or if you've tucked/scryed something powerful on top you just copy that spell.
I'd love to see your take on Anafenza, personally. I've always liked Abzan as a color combo, but Arena has barely any options for it and Anafenza seems like a cool take on the colors, even if it's probably not a super powerful deck
Boots out, put in footfall crater saves you one mana compared to boots since you are only using it to give narset haste. Plus it can be cycled if you don't need it.
Historic Brawl is proof that pseudo-commander in 1v1 without morals is about as rage-educing as it sounds. And we're all here for it, and love this format all the same.
Opponent could have actually killed you with Etali when you used Teferi’s protection. Teferi’s protection just prevents life total change, it doesn’t prevent damage. Had he transformed and swung, you would have gained the 11 poison counters from etali dealing 11 damage.
Narset is perfect to create a creatureless commander - have a deck in RL which let me draw my whole hand and cast everything for free. Work most of the time...
Does someone know the MUST have cards in the mythic rare/ rare slot? I'm trying to build a semi-budget-friendly version of this... Like all the shock lands rares are essential or just a optimizing flex?

This is the only commander that i have because it's the only legendary minion in my possession, i didn't know it was that broken, my friends keep telling me that is broken, and now i can see that it wasn't just because i was beating them ahahah.

God, I matched against this list while playing Aclazotz and had the worst time imaginable. Thought I had the game one. Opponent had no cards in hand and a low life total. But they had boots OTB and victory was nigh impossible because of hexproof and was being given pro. black from another artifact on top. Infuriating! Ah well. Can't win 'em all.

These "free spells" commanders need to be banned. Its too powerful in a 1v1 format like brawl. Theres little that can stand up to this, imoti, and that dino. HB is just.... unfun now - i concede more than i play.

One of the problems for this commander is that there are not enough extraturns and protection/unblockable in arena to go really nuts

Naw, a lot of people got to figure out the deck. You would be surprise how often players don’t know how to pilot decks.
