Thank you so much! I completely agree-taking things slowly is the best way to truly learn and absorb everything. I’m so glad you found the tutorial helpful! Many of them offer a space to share experiences, ideas, and tips for efficiency. I'd recommend joining a few to see which one aligns with your style!

Hi Julia, what's the difference between this tutorial video and the one 5 months ago (Ultimate tutorial or something...). Which is easier to follow for a total beginner like myself? 💜
Hey there! The one from 5 months ago is best if you're dropshipping, as it contains a more detailed recommendation on which supplier to use and how to add dropshipping products. Aside from that, they're pretty similar though!
Very easy to follow your videos, I thank you for that, could you tell more about the pages under the Online Store, what is it for? my understanding was that we have to create all the pages there and link to the main menu and footer for the navigation. I completed mine the way you do and it works just fine.
Hey there! I'm happy to hear that you found the videos easy to follow! The "Pages" area is where you create static pages for your website, like "About Us," "Contact Us," "FAQs," or any other information you want to provide to visitors. You're correct in understanding that once you create these pages, you need to link them to your main menu or footer to make them accessible to your customers for easy navigation. It sounds like you've set it up perfectly! If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to me :)

If you will create a shopify store, do you need to have a physical product or just like tiktok you can be an affiliate? I am a newbie. Thanks in advance!❤
Hey there! There are 2 ways to sell on Shopify: 1. Self-fulfillment, so you have your own products in stock to ship, or 2. Dropshipping, in which you don’t need to have the products with you, and someone else ships them for you. Here's a step-by-step tutorial for beginners on creating a fully functional dropshipping store: ruclips.net/video/UCDPhUSmtVY/видео.html If you want to do self-fulfillment you can simply add the products you want to sell to your Shopify store. However you will need to buy your own inventory and manage shipping by yourself. Once you make a sale, you'll be responsible for everything from packing the order to shipping the product to your customer. This includes managing your inventory, ensuring timely delivery, and handling any customer service inquiries related to shipping. Self-fulfillment gives you complete control over the process, but it also requires more investment, time and effort to manage all aspects of the fulfillment process. You can also opt for print on demand! It's my personal favorite. Here's a tutorial on that: ruclips.net/video/bGqJbftvk7k/видео.html
Hey, thank you for your feedback! Are you in the theme editor? If so, it's because you have a smaller computer screen, so everything appears on the left side
i keep getting this error message when i try to check out: Items in the cart do not meet price or weight requirements to qualify for shipping. Update your cart and try again. i have watched your video a few times and can not find my error...
This was a very good tutorial and one that is oblivious about the IT world or designing sites I can do this on my own just by watching this tutorial. but I have a question, how do I set up a store selling other people's products? do you have a tutorial on setting up a dropping shipping store and recommend company's where i can do dropping. plus do you have a tutorial on print on demand or prettify how to get started like how you showed it hear? on printify i wish to sell mugs design but i want to design it myself and tshirt and throw pillows. can you lead me to all the tutorials.
Hey there, thank you! I'm glad to hear you're ready to set things up on your own! For a full step-by-step tutorial on creating a fully functional dropshipping store, I recommend checking out this video: ruclips.net/video/UCDPhUSmtVY/видео.html My favorite dropshipping supplier is Zendrop. They have amazing features such as automatic fulfillment, which means you don't need to manually fulfill every order that comes in. Zendrop also has custom branding features, so you can add thank-you cards and custom packaging, giving your customers a branded experience. One of the top advantages of Zendrop is the ability to source ANYTHING within 24 hours. Even if a product is not in their current catalog, you can request a quote, and they will source it directly from the manufacturer in one day, thanks to their large warehouses in China. This opens a world of possibilities when testing products. Here's a link to Zendrop: zendrop.sjv.io/q46Ldn For a full print-on-demand tutorial, I recommend you watch out this video: ruclips.net/video/bGqJbftvk7k/видео.html If you have any questions along the way, don't hesitate to reach out to me :)
@Shopify-Success if you do not mind, I am in a learning stage and I will look at all the links and learn and set it up. But there is still lots more to learn and I need guidance. So if you do not mind please help me to be successful in this as it means a lot to me. Not looking to be a millionaire just the freedom to do what I love most which is serving people. Tq madam

A consistent and disciplined mindset is the key. You've got this. If you have any questions at all, feel free to ask
I enjoyed your slow and easy tutorial. Am finding it difficult settings or customizing my store for electronic & gadget and 5 other categories i wish to dropship on. Please is this video a holistic answer to my questions , or isnt possible to have one shop with different categories of items? Advice please
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial! Yes, you can absolutely have one store with different categories of items, including electronics, gadgets, and other niches you want to dropship. This type of store is called a general store, as opposed to a niche store. At 6:31 in this video, I go deeper into the different types of dropshipping stores: ruclips.net/video/UCDPhUSmtVY/видео.html I also recommend going for a niche store instead of general as it usually converts much better. Whatever you choose, it IS possible to create inside Shopify. If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know :)
Hey, you're welcome! I'm glad you liked the tutorial! You can get notified when the marketing course is coming out here: www.digitalsuccessjourney.com/signup
Hey there! Yes, this tutorial is definitely applicable for a starter store as well. It covers the basics that are perfect for getting you up and running, even if you're just starting out. Let me know if you have any specific questions along the way :) All the best!
Hey there! It will depend on your brand and the design of your store. I recommend you choose your best, most eye-catchy images and placing those first.
Hi, I really enjoyed this video. I created my products on Printify and published them on my Shopify store. I then tried to connect my shopify store to Facebook and instagram but I am having issues. I am getting this error: "Your Shopify store already has a catalog connected to it. Since this asset is linked to a different catalog, you’ll need to disconnect your existing catalog to continue." Can you help me. I also tried Shopify support but I am not finding catalog under products to disconnect. Thank you!
Hey! Have you already installed the "Facebook & Instagram" app into Shopify? You need to install the app and follow the steps to synchronize your store with FB and IG Shop. You can then manage the catalog in the Facebook Commerce Manager. You can also reach out to the Facebook support live chat, they are very responsive and can guide you through the process of managing your catalogue. Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know :) You're welcome and thanks for watching!
If I want to set up a store in Shopify and I think it will take me a month or more to set up, can I set it up and save progress without paying for the services until I want to publish my company?
Yes, you can! Shopify offers a 3-day free trial to start building your store, and once the trial ends, you can get a 1 month subscription for only $1. Here's a link to this offer: bit.ly/46hNuSc To set up your store you'll need to have a subscription running. A cheap alternative for you, would be after the $1 month finishes, you can subscribe to the Shopify Start plan for $5. However, keep in mind that with this plan, you'll not have access to collections, (categories to group your products to create menus) just product pages. If you’re not ready to publish right away, you can select Shopify's Pause and Build plan, which allows you to keep working on your store for $9 per month until you're ready to launch. This plan gives you full access to create your store and save your progress without paying the full service fee until you’re ready to go live! Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to me :)
You can connect to the producer through a dropshipping platform. My favorite supplier is Zendrop, they have a huge catalog of products, offer fast shipping times, and they can source any product not listed on their page within 24 hours. I recommend you watch this step-by-step video on how to start dropshipping: ruclips.net/video/UCDPhUSmtVY/видео.html If you have any questions, feel free to let me know :)
Hey there, you're welcome! Are you in the theme editor? If so, it's because you have a smaller computer screen, so everything appears on the left side.
Hey there, I'm a real person, haha! Here's a video where you can see me: ruclips.net/video/fHeNj-yuYxU/видео.html If you have any other questions, feel free to ask :)
Hey there! Custom CSS is code that allows you to add your own styling to your theme, giving you more control over the appearance of your store. However, if you're not familiar with coding, it might feel a bit technical and advanced. If you'd rather not get into coding, many Shopify themes offer plenty of customization options through the theme editor, which doesn’t require any coding at all. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to me :)
Hey! After the first month for $1, the subscription will depend on the plan you choose, averaging from $5 for the Start Plan and $25 for the Basic Plan. Keep in mind that the $5 Starter plan does not include many features. You will not get many website customization options-only access to product pages. No collections either, so I would recommend you go with the $25 Basic plan. Here's a link to it: bit.ly/46hNuSc
I have paid a monthly subscription for 1$ but I can’t select the dawn theme or any other theme. Other than spotlight do you know what the problem might be?😩
Hey there! With the Shopify 'Starter Plan' you only have access to the spotlight theme. To have access to the other themes, you need to have the 'Basic Plan'. To confirm this, here are step-by-step instructions: 1. From the Shopify admin head to 'Settings' > 'Plans'. 2. Under 'Plan Details' you can check the current plan your shop in on. To access additional themes, you can upgrade to the Shopify Basic Plan.
43:56 The part where you tested if the product are purchaseable or not by first adding the product to cart and then going for checkout There an interface came in thre video where the customer will have to put their details but when I tried that interface didn't appear What can I do ,please if you can tell me and I currently am on a free plan So for my Store to function properly I have to buy a plan??
Hey there! Have you signed up for the Basic Plan yet? You can test by doing a free trial and then add a product and go to checkout to see if it's working.
Hey! I'm so glad the video was helpful! It's fantastic to hear it covered what you've been looking for! I strive to make to the content accessible to everyone :) If you have any questions at all, feel free to let me know
Hey there! Setting up a Facebook and Instagram Shop allows you to showcase and sell your products directly through these platforms, making it easier for your audience to discover and purchase items without leaving the app, here's how it works: 1. Connect your Shopify store to Facebook and Instagram. You can do this by installing the Facebook and Instagram app within Shopify. 2. Once connected, you'll need to set up a Facebook Commerce account. This is where you can manage your products and collections, and it's linked to both your Facebook page and Instagram page 3. Your product catalogue from Shopify will be synced with Facebook and Instagram, allowing you to select which products you want to feature in your shop Both platforms have dedicated shopping tabs where users can browse products. Your shop will appear there, providing another way for potential customers to discover your items. Customers can either checkout directly on Facebook or Instagram or be redirected to your Shopify store, depending on how you set it up.
I'm new to shopify I've had a few sales. My hang up is with shipping I had a customer buy 3 things and the shipping was $25 OMG is that normal they bought 2 mugs and a hoodie. I've watched a bunch of yt videos all offering free shipping how is that even possible if you want a profit. Can you give me guidance with this?
Hey there! Congrats on getting a few sales! Shipping can be tricky, especially when you're selling multiple items with different sizes and weights, like mugs and hoodies. High shipping costs can be a result of those combined weights and dimensions. Many sellers who offer free shipping either adjust their product prices to cover some or all of the shipping cost or use shipping strategies like negotiating discounts with carriers, or offering free shipping on orders over a certain amount. One approach could be to slightly increase your product prices to absorb part of the shipping cost, which makes "free shipping" more feasible for you. Alternatively, offering free shipping for higher-value orders could encourage customers to buy more, covering the shipping expense. Finding a balance that works for your margins is key.
Hey! Go to the theme editor > click on 'Header' to open the settings on the right sidebar. There you can check if the main menu is actually selected. There you can select which menus to show. Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know :)
Hey there! They just moved it to 'Settings' > 'General' > 'Brand assets'. It's not necessary for you to upload your logo and fonts here as you can do it inside the theme editor. The only advantage of having your brand assets there is that Shopify can apply them to any theme you use, ensuring consistency even if you switch themes. This means you don’t need to manually update your logo, colors, or fonts each time.
Hey there! It sounds like there might be an issue with the file format or size. Make sure your logo is in a supported format like PNG or JPEG, and check that the file size is not too large. Also, try refreshing your browser or clearing your cache. If the problem persists, it might be worth trying a different browser or uploading it again.

1. Self-fulfillment, so you have your own products in stock to ship,
or
2. Dropshipping, in which you don’t need to have the products with you, and someone else ships them for you. Here's a step-by-step tutorial for beginners on creating a fully functional dropshipping store: ruclips.net/video/UCDPhUSmtVY/видео.html
If you want to do self-fulfillment you can simply add the products you want to sell to your Shopify store.
Amazing instructions and easy to follow. I am missing the right side of my editing page... not too sure how to fix it.
Hey, thank you for your feedback! Are you in the theme editor? If so, it's because you have a smaller computer screen, so everything appears on the left side
@@Shopify-Success Thank you. That explains it! I need a bigger computer. :)
i keep getting this error message when i try to check out: Items in the cart do not meet price or weight requirements to qualify for shipping.
For a full step-by-step tutorial on creating a fully functional dropshipping store, I recommend checking out this video: ruclips.net/video/UCDPhUSmtVY/видео.html
My favorite dropshipping supplier is Zendrop.
Here's a link to Zendrop: zendrop.sjv.io/q46Ldn

At 6:31 in this video, I go deeper into the different types of dropshipping stores:
ruclips.net/video/UCDPhUSmtVY/видео.html
I also recommend going for a niche store instead of general as it usually converts much better.
Whatever you choose, it IS possible to create inside Shopify. If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know :)
Thanks for this.
I'm looking for the course opt-in you mentioned. I don't see the link in the description. Can you tell me where to go?

@@Shopify-Success Thank you for your reply. 🌻
I have a sports store and I had to ask which product photos to use as my main ones??
Here's a link to this offer: bit.ly/46hNuSc
To set up your store you'll need to have a subscription running.
Hi, I live in Belgium but I am abroad for a year (in Canada and then is Spain) where should you localize my store ?
Hey there! I’d recommend localizing it in Belgium since that’s where you live.
And also, when I find a product, how can I connect to the producer and sell them on my store ?
You can connect to the producer through a dropshipping platform. My favorite supplier is Zendrop, they have a huge catalog of products, offer fast shipping times, and they can source any product not listed on their page within 24 hours.
I recommend you watch this step-by-step video on how to start dropshipping: ruclips.net/video/UCDPhUSmtVY/видео.html

I see there is option for custom css as well when editing the themes. what is that? how to use?

If first month will cost 1$ what other months will cost ?? Pls help
Omg tysm ! I’m building it now using the video
To confirm this, here are step-by-step instructions:
1. From the Shopify admin head to 'Settings' > 'Plans'.
2. Under 'Plan Details' you can check the current plan your shop in on.
To access additional themes, you can upgrade to the Shopify Basic Plan.
43:56 The part where you tested if the product are purchaseable or not by first adding the product to cart and then going for checkout
There an interface came in thre video where the customer will have to put their details but when I tried that interface didn't appear
What can I do ,please if you can tell me and I currently am on a free plan
So for my Store to function properly I have to buy a plan??
Hey there! Have you signed up for the Basic Plan yet? You can test by doing a free trial and then add a product and go to checkout to see if it's working.

how does it work to use facebook and instagram shop?
Hey there! Setting up a Facebook and Instagram Shop allows you to showcase and sell your products directly through these platforms, making it easier for your audience to discover and purchase items without leaving the app, here's how it works:
1. Connect your Shopify store to Facebook and Instagram. You can do this by installing the Facebook and Instagram app within Shopify.
2. Once connected, you'll need to set up a Facebook Commerce account. This is where you can manage your products and collections, and it's linked to both your Facebook page and Instagram page
3. Your product catalogue from Shopify will be synced with Facebook and Instagram, allowing you to select which products you want to feature in your shop
Both platforms have dedicated shopping tabs where users can browse products. Your shop will appear there, providing another way for potential customers to discover your items. Customers can either checkout directly on Facebook or Instagram or be redirected to your Shopify store, depending on how you set it up.
Nice

Finding a balance that works for your margins is key.
idk what I did wrong I followed what you did for the main menu part but it won't show for some reason
Hey! Go to the theme editor > click on 'Header' to open the settings on the right sidebar. There you can check if the main menu is actually selected. There you can select which menus to show.
Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know :)
I don't see brand in the settings what does that mean?
When I try to add logo I download it but it won’t pop up???
Hey there! It sounds like there might be an issue with the file format or size. Make sure your logo is in a supported format like PNG or JPEG, and check that the file size is not too large. Also, try refreshing your browser or clearing your cache. If the problem persists, it might be worth trying a different browser or uploading it again.
