Now the bus, not really a while lot they can do about that, they got that big wide turn radius, and most bus drivers are really good drivers. There is the acceptation, like with any professional driver. The fact the driver took the turn that fast, they knew what they was doing. I dont even bat an eye at them anymore, cause I know getting hit by 49,000lbs is gonna end me, and i wont have anything to worry about anymore.
agree with all your comments, and agree one at 1.30 was a head on in the waiting. I was a bit sympathetic to the last one 2.20 as he was already committed before you arrived, and was going slow. the car/van parked illegally was the problem
@@justthink295 in the second instance there was obstructions on both sides of the road. You had acknowledged that someone needed to give way, and whilst I would argue that it should be the driver, as you are more established in your position, I would also say that it's wrong to expect it. It doesn't take much to ease off yourself once you have identified the driver isn't. I would say either road user could have given way, but neither seemed to want to do so.
Yup, fair points. It doesn't show very well in the clip that I was braking as I was saying "please give way", which was why I was able to avoid a crash. I never expect them to give way 😒
I often ride in Oxford & Kidlington. Some cyclists are soooo dumb it baffles me. From going through no entries to swerving & cutting in front of people...
The bus was fine to take the wide path, it was the speed he did that at which was at issue. No way the driver knew with such accuracy where the cyclist was.
I had to google "YPLAC" :-) great compilation!

good video. Got to be careful in the winter. Safe cycling mate
Heaven save us.
The give way incident at 1.30 has happened to me twice in the past week. Drives me insane.
1:38 Car driver to oncoming cyclist:
"Please give way- Please give way- Please give way- ...F*** You!"
Some great cycling and driving at 00:55, but not so great driving/cycling at 01:35.
Always happy to get constructive criticism - what do you think I should have done differently in the second instance?

Its all fun and games and good for the environment, until you are a smear on the pavement.

Plenty of idiots out there. Much prefer them to be riding bikes than driving vehicles though - less likely to kill someone else.
@@justthink295 roads were made for motorised vehicles though not bikes. Entitled much?
@@allghilliedup5722 No, they weren't (apart from motorways). Yes, you are.

Tredness kills. Take a break.
A very good watch, hopefully I got angry at all the same moments you did!
Bit unfair on the bus but the rest I agree.
