    Will the heat spreader work using double sided tape?

      @@Pogingeanu The white tape at the back of yhe heat spreader with 3M words on it.

      @@jekdelossantos7550 You peel off the paper with 3M on it and discover an adhesive area that sticks to the SSD.That's how it goes!

      @@Pogingeanu Yes. But what I meant was, will the heatspreader work, like will it dissipate heat if the ram and the heatspreaders have adhesive between them.

      @@jekdelossantos7550 yes, the adhesive transfers the heat and keeps the SSD cool. On the other hand, I used some SSDs without adding the metal plate and I had no problems with the temperature. It depends on how you use that SSD and in general how airy your PC is.

      @@meriemben5143 Depends what you're doing with it, if you're using it for an operating system Samsung is probably the better choice because it's faster. If you're using it for storage it's not worth the money difference and ADATA is more suitable.
