    I had one. 1973 my dad bought me one from a farmer. I was 14. It took till I was 16 before it was ready.

    Wonderful truck, love that body style and color. I just did something very similar on my '58 Ford Panel. Same engine, same issues.

      Is it a flathead(side valve/low compression) motor?

      @@glennredwine289 Not a flathead, its an over head cam engine. 223ci. This came right after the flathead.

      I know I made a rookie mistake! Haha but she ran clean after we changed the points out. It needs a good foot tune to knock the cobwebs out of it

      This truck was very loved through its years, she was a work horse don't get me wrong. But the owners maintained it and kept it inside most of its life.

      No it isn't. Not in 52 with a 215 cost clipper 6. Ive owned one since i was 16.

    2 nuts on valve cover. Intake and exhaust valves should be set at 15 thousands cold. They will tick like a sewing machine.

      @@hunterkline2516 Ah well the owner, has little to no knowledge on classic veichels. He's a fellow brother, who was looking for education on this F1 to build it with his son one day. He wasn't lean to be lazy, he was Retaining as much information on and off camera.

      No its not. 52 was first year of the cost clipper 6.

      I have dealer manual and even posters and a truck my family owned since new that proves it. Its clearly listed as the primary engine for 52. So go lay down by your bowl.
