@@LaviandOllie that’s is good to hear i converting a campervan at the moment so I’m getting plenty of inspiration from you both. You too are so easy to listen too
That’s awesome to hear that you get some inspiration from the channel 😍 We wish you all the best for your further van adventures ❤️🙏😍 let us know how you get on or if you have any questions 😊
That glacier is on its last legs by the looks of it. Many of the ones we have in Norway are suffering too. The thick ice cap on what used to be our highest mountain, Glittertind, is gone now. As a result, it's now our second highest. (Galdhøpiggen is currently the highest in Norway now, at 2469 m. a. sea level. It has never had an ice cap, so will keep the title in all foreseeable future). Even Jostedalsbreen, the biggest glacier in all of mainland Europe (Vatnajøkul in Iceland is bigger), will be mostly gone in a few decades. It's sad. But that's where we are heading, folks.
Wow thats an interesting hike and a glacier in decline ... its sombre to see the effects of global warming in person ... Nice dinner to finish the video ... Keep rocking ..

😔
Some forty years ago when I visited there was no lake, just a small pond !
The change we saw from the photos is dramatic! 😮 Another 10 and it will be gone!
Nice video , which month was it ?
That was in October last year 😊
Yay
Thanks so much for watching David 🤩

Yes it was startling to see the difference of the glacial levels over the years but still very impressive. Thanks so much for watching 🙏

How long did you walk from the lift to the glacier 😊
Perhaps 1,5 hours so 3 hours round tour 😁
