@@mentaldesolation9711 Yeah, Arc System Works are extremely good at creating Fighting Games, to the point where their name being attached to one can be considered a sign of quality. Just to list off a few of the fighting games the made, they developed Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, and Dragon Ball Fighterz.
To give you an idea of how simple some of these games are, a friend of mine literally made that planet dodging game for a programming class. It only took him an hour and a half.
From the creators of franchises like Metal References: The Game and Ow! the Edge comes: *the Family Racing franchise* (Guilty Gear x Blazblue racing when ArcSys?)
The worst part of all of this is that I'm sure someone put their heart into a creative idea that they really wanted to turn into an interactive medium with that Anima game and it turned out to be hot garbage.
I always wonder how much time and energy is spend to realize creative visions that in the end suck. It's also interesting to think about how few creative visions become good products in the end. Maybe 1:100.000 ?
