Objects Born Not Made - Bernard Leach and British Studio Pottery (28 May - 10 July 2022)

This exhibition featured works from a selection of studio potters - inspired by Bernard Leach at the renowned Leach Pottery - shown together for the first time.
Bernard Leach is widely regarded as the founder of British Studio Pottery and a number of his works were also included in the exhibition. Profoundly influenced by the beauty of Oriental ceramics, Leach sought to make pots that fused the traditions of Japan, Korea and China with the heritage of craft potters in Britain.
