Наверное по ней лучше лапка скользит.Я пробовала,но не смогла использовать.Боялась повредить иглу.

полоска выступает как направляющая и компенсатор слоев ткани с другой стороны иглы, лапка ложится ровно и строчка точно по припуску, в начальных видео их об этом спрашивали постоянно. мне тоже не зашло - может "правильной" пластмаски не попалось)))

When stitching about 2mm from the edge, a specialized presser foot is used. However, this presser foot can provide an unstable grip on the fabric compared to a standard one, so we use a plastic strap to stabilize the sewing area. The strap acts like a tank's track, preventing any shifting of the fabric while sewing.
