I knew y’all would enjoy the artistic concept and the picture that Marlon painted with his words. Me and pops are from the same era of hip hop and have a very similar taste in music.
The part that got me the most was how the Police and KKK men were able to do their dirt, but still sit at the dinner table and provide a family structure. While the black “gang” member ends up behind bars, therefore tearing apart his family structure, leaving his children to have to eat without him and when they want to talk to him it’s through a glass window, Which in turn, keeps him from being able to truly provide a secure family structure .

Yeah I know what you're saying about racism in this country I was labeled as black at birth because my father Is a black man and my mother is white. racism causes unnecessary confusion for everyone on both sides. I experience racism throughout my life off and on and I saw the racism my father went through when he sometimes got pulled over by the police. And some fully black people look at me and think I don't understand or don't have sympathy because my skin is white. Or think I lived a better life than them because of how I look and I feel didn't get much privilege in my life. Both sides of my family was and is poor and both parents had drug issues. I have lived in majority-black neighborhoods and majority white neighborhoods off and on throughout my life growing up. I seen both sides and I know what's up.❤😎
