Hey bro! Thank you for your analysis. Feels good to get nice criteria and to see where I still need to work on. I will answer your question just like you asked: Last time in 2019, I became too exhausted during my performance and I got a dry mouth as well, so my breaks during my performance were meant as a break for myself (to focus on the next intensive parts) and to have a certain connection with the crowd, filled with silence, which describes my storytelling too :D Although I used maybe too much time for my breaks/pauses, it was in order to have the final smash 100% perfect! With this performance I learned to not get distracted by my own excitement and adrenaline (I realised after that It would cost me some points, since I lost some clarity over there). But overall I'm happy with my performance, and I'm more than happy to have received your feedback. Thank you for the very nice words bro ❤ Esh!
FootboxG has super original natural style of beatboxing, like the last of 40 years of evolution of beatbox u can feel in his clean cut sounds. Mind blowing that person can produce such a clean sounds in mili seconds... Very rare that other beatboxers cant do this. BOSNIA WATCHING
I personally didn't feel that disconnection in the middle of the performance. I was truly surprised with what he came up with thus year. It was 2nd best elim on my list :) such a great show ! And great analysis, especially on the placement of snares in a hip hop song !
I love your explanation about how sometimes people who are as technical and original as footboxg can run a risk of disconnecting from their audience..... It really grants some perspective...
That shouldn't be the case. He shouldn't need to appeal to casual listeners who don't understand how difficult his routines are to pull off. bunch of casuals in the crowd smh. Technical beatboxers are way more impessive than ones that just go up on stage to sing and hum with basic tech. Drumming by itself is still music. The phrase beatbox is music is true whether or not the performer chooses to sing. Anyone can sing decently well however it takes far more dedication to learn tech routines.
@@Heatwave9000 I 100% agree, singing isn't even beatbox 😒... Casual listeners is true, but for some it's just outside of what they can understand. Some people can't achieve it even with training. You see it with professional musicians too, some that follow the basic radio formula and others who exceed with musical and creative intelligence. The ones lacking in musical creativity are often the ones with the most extravagant costumes.... KISS is a classic example lol. (Love that band) **edit** Coming back to add that there are some people like Gene, who doesn't fit into that category with kiss, he wears extravagant costumes but he definitely isn't compensating for a lack of musical/creative intelligence. He is actually a really good beatboxer, he does sing more than I'd like for a beatbox event though.
LOL actually true. Another factor times really do change and so many diverse styles my man. If this was like the private event of beatbox house where they were like in just a garage size area, Less "normies" As rude as that sounds. I dont want to be a gate keeper piece of sht but when gbb was smaller (smaller than worlds at least) Crowd had more of a connection with every style of beatboxer. For me footy got top 8 at worst Hes a beast 🔥
@@asylumental I feel a beatboxed like Wing is great for casual and non casual listeners. The way he blends in tech and musicality is such a pleasure to listen to.
For me Footboxg elimination was better than Alem and hiss (Just my opinion !!) Edited : even better than zekka if i want to rank him i'll put him next to colaps
Imo hiss was stronger mainly because he never messed up his tempo during his elim but footbox g’s was by far the cleanest elim there was but had some super minor mistakes with his tempo during some of his spit snare beats but it’s super super small and takes a lot of listening to hear
I love how FootboxG plays with the dynamics, taking pauses and making people pay attention to his intricate sounds, which also makes the more powerful stuff hit so much harder 😍
4:17 this fcking LIP BASS!!! I'm so damn jealous of this sound man. Rayul does it too and B art as well but omg I want the sound sooo bad lol. Also, I like the more in depth breakdown of this one
Loved your explanation of what happened with the middle section of Footbox's performance, I felt like it was the weakest part of it and now I understand why it was. Amazing performance from him, and oh my god the level is SO high! Really looking forward for the next one :)
This is the best showcase I’ve seen in a long long time. The originality of his style was really shown as well as completing high scores in all boxes. Although it didn’t score as high as zekka, that ending deserved first place 😂❤️
Love your Analys. The thing with the snare is yust so hard to understand. Thnaks for these infos D-low! But i expectet such things from you. Youre the champ bro!!!
FootBoxG Went Crazy! i am positive that he would have gone even more crazy in the International Throwdown if he didnt had to jump out of it last moment, really felt this elimination, my top 3 fav
IT NEEDS TO BE STATED THAT FOOTBOXG IS SO DAMM GOOD ESPECIALLY ON A MIC!!! There's something about his unique sound that I enjoy more when it isn't a capella. God he is so good!
Dang the intro really got me! I thought there was delay from my headphone but after play it like 3 times i realised that Dlow is using the voice delay technique XD
What is this desync at the beginning? Was it me who was stupid or does the movie have a problem with timing at the beginning? 😅😅 Omg, Dan! 🤣🤣 you got me! XD
Footboxg, max, dkoy, river, gene, napom are my top 6 based on the livestream In this improved audio quality, still clear for me that footboxg deserves somewhere in the top 6. I'm waiting for max's cuz he got out and I don't know what could possibly the reason that I didn't hear from the livestream.
This is seriously the only elim in which I liked the breaks. To me at least they seemed like they were on purpose, FootboxG acting like "Alright, process that first before I hit you with the next beat"
FootboxG's zone is a like an assassin maid, cleanest eliminations 😂...wish he started sitting like his wildcard tho lol 🧘🧘🧘🔥🔥🔥always great vids DLow!!! Amazing amazing amazing performance FootboxG!!!
