Glad to see these come into existance. Although the "dress piece is supposed to be the other way like a long wizard cloak and szass Tams popped collar piece, but just nitpicks. And there are other "classes" in a decently expensive DND set that comes with the others. The $360 dnd set inclues the Dwarf Cleric, Elf Wizard, Gnome Fighter, and Orc Rogue and 2 other minifigures. So if you add that to the minifigure series you get Tiefling Sorcerer, Dwarf Barbarian, Halfling Druid, Gith Warlock, Aarakocra Ranger, Dragonborn Paladin, Elf Bard. So in the end the Monk (and Artificer) are the only 2 that don't have dedicated dnd minifigures.
Sold out across much of Michigan in just a few days. I got my full set on Aug 27 at a Grand Rapids Walmart even though they weren't supposed to hit shelves until Sep 1. Same store 3 days later: all gone. Been looking all over from G.R. to Bay City for more. Space allocated. No product. Hot stuff.
The fireball effects are a play effect. if you press the tail of the fireball towards the arm it's affixed to, it launches forward. You might lose the piece in the carpet though! 😅
Bet that dual cloak is a hooded cloak. The short part being the hood. Omg! Dragonborn is wonderful. I want ALL the weapons and the hooded cloak for my Ranger Dragonborn. 😍 And that mini pseudo dragon is so cool.
I’m a massive fan of this CMF (I have between 5-9 of each so far!) and hope that we get a second series - it will depend on how well this series goes, but if they do it will be 2 years until then. My hope is that this and the Red Dragon’s Keep set do well, and we can get a whole Lego D&D theme.
Not to be nit picky or a know-it-all but… The warlock is a gith, not an elf. The Lady of Pain’s item is a Cubic Gate. The tassel at the base of the dragonborn’s mace isn’t new. It first came out in 2016. The Dragonborn’s head is new in that colour, but is not a new mould. It was originally released for the Vidiyo line but more recently appeared in green in the D&D set. There are a couple of reasons LEGO includes extra parts. One is that it adds value and helps kids (and adults) who misplace smaller parts. The other is operational: LEGO weighs sets/bags to ensure all parts are present but because the scales have a margin of error, LEGO includes extras of some smaller parts to err on the side of all the parts being there. It’s more costly for them to replace missing parts than it is to include extras.
I desperately want to get ahold of the Lady of Pain from this set. Though I’m not a fan of the colors, the idea of one of the most powerful beings in the dnd multiverse getting a tiny lil mini fig is really funny to me
I approve of Spirit Halloween shirt. Fun. :) I got all 12 & one bonus of my favorite, using the handy scan apps. And haven't opened any yet. Not sure what I'm waiting for lol.
Been trying to get the Dragonborn Paladin for my son, but I was too late and they’re sold out everywhere. I’m going to go back when they restock in a week or so.
I've got the whole set 5 times. Not a lego collector, i'm a dnd fan and old lego fan so when i heard this set was coming out i rekindled my love for lego and I've decided to become more of a dnd lego user. Trying to get as many of them for i want to make whole campaigns, monsters, npcs etc out of lego. 😂 think it's more sturdier than printed minis and terrain. 😅
So I ordered a "case" of minifigs off of Amazon (there were 6 figures in my case, all different, so I have half the collection) and my only complaint is that they didn't put a hole in the bard's back so that you can attach his lute to his back. If anyone is curious my case was the dwarf, the halfling, the aarakocra, the dragonborn, the elf and the tiefling. According to what people are saying in the comments on Amazon, the cases always contain either those 6 or the other 6, so if you order 2 cases, you will get all 12, or you will get 2 each of the same 6 minis.
have I see multiple reviews of this series by lego dorks who look at everything lego even if they know nothing about dnd? Yes. Am I watching another review by NI just because I like him? Also yes
am i the only one who thinks that they missed massive opportunity to make a full on collaboration of a line of sets that is just different dudgeon rooms and places that you can connect together in different ways to make an actual dungeon (Think dwarven forge but Lego), mini figs that can be made in a lot of different styles to make player minis and a line of sets that are just monsters. like this seems like a massive missed opportunity.

Very cool. Thanks for showing us.

@@snospmoht3252 you're probably right!
It's an Ood! 😂
If you're talking about that second, tiny cloak on what I assume to be Vecna, that's probably meant to be a collar.

8:36 Dunno if you've fixed it since the video, but that "upper cloak" of Szass Tam is supposed to be a high collar (see the box pics)
This is the correct answet

I got one of each and an extra Tasha, great set!
The other classes (wizard, cleric, rogue, fighter) are part of the Res Dragon Tale Lego set from earlier this year
Am I the only who used to use lego mini figs for character and monster models back in the day?
awesome!!! thank you for sharing :)

I got her Serenity and a couple githyanki in the three I bought this afternoon.
I wanted to get these so bad
FYI The robe bottoms go the opposite way.
@gilbertbarnett8225 yeah, make a sense. I had just woken up lol

I used the scanner technique at a Lego store and Walmart to get the set.
If they made a BG3 series....there's little I wouldn't do to get them...
I have 3 so far the dwarf barbarian, the mind frayer and Tasha
It’d be cool if they made a Lego DnD strategy video game with the new rules and classes from 2024 PHB I’d play that.
Not getting them until October oh well
Can anyone recommend a scan app or site? Really interested in picking up a Tasha :)
Bricksearsh, minifig scan - app store or google play
Falconbricks is the one i used 😊

This feels like rage bait. 😅 How do you know about Chima and not which way the skirt goes? 😅
