For people complaining about the audio, use the closed caption and read what is being said or use headphones or earbuds, that helps immensely with the audio. Please remember these priests do not have allot of money this is not something they do all the time and they made these videos to help the laity understand what’s happened to our church. They’re doing the best they can.
I was so excited to get to this episode, and the episode prior to those but how heartbreaking that the audio is so bad that I could barely understand anything that he said. He is a fascinating speaker on this subject, which is a fascinating subject. I really wish you could redo these two episodes And give him a good microphone
Thank you to all involved in this most informative podcast. Could I please suggest that you adjust the Crisis in the Church playlist, as it is currently set up to run from newest to the oldest episode, which isn't particularly conducive to listening to them retrospectively in order.
Seems the Papacy and Protestants don’t like the Catholic Church growing organically. The supernatural virtues are too powerful and they naturally lead to God once you truly incorporate them in your life. Thank you gentlemen.
I find this quite confusing because I had picked up from medieval history and from the position of the Eastern church that separation of church and state was desirable to avoid the church being dominated by the state. I know I'm commenting months after this podcast was aired.
The Church has never taught that the ideal structure of society would require the Church to be separate from the State. It is true that she labored to avoid be subordinated to the temporal interests of civil rulers, but this is not the same thing as a policy of separation. Leo XIII articulates clearly the traditional teaching in encyclicals like Immortale Dei and Diuturnum Illud, where he compares the union of Church and State to the union of a soul and body. Distinct, but united for one common purpose: leading souls to their eternal destiny, whether directly by the action of the Church or indirectly by the action of the State (i.e., removing obstacles by good laws, fostering Christian marriage and education, and publicly worshiping the true God). Another good resource to understand the teaching of the Church would be Archbishop Lefebvre’s work, They Have Uncrowned Him.
Didn't St Thomas Aquinas stated "grace perfects nature." My point is there is a need for the development of the natural virtues first so that the supernatural virtue can flourish? Before the God breathe of life into the nostrils of Adam God has to formed man of dust from the ground first (Genesis 2:7) So also is the development of supernatural virtues is founded/incarnated on the natural.

I agree. For me, the content more than makes up for any minor background noise!
Humility, docility...an anathema to American exceptionalism. I need to pray the Litany of Humility every day.
This is a great series but you need to take the A/V quality up a notch. Very hard to hear this one.
The more the Papacy has conformed, the more Catholic influence has been lost. Not only on the world but also on the laity of the church.

Very interesting. Unfortunately, the audio is very muffled and made it hard to listen to.
Yes, sorry about that. We’re working to get all our guests better microphones. Thanks for your patience & understanding!
turning on subtitles can help

There is no heaven on earth save but for mass

Which Lodge did Ireland belong to?
Can I ask you a question?
Are you in communion with the Pope? Many people tell me that you are excommunicate...
Yes they are, but it's somewhat complex. Look up The Fatima center "Is SSPX in schism"
Father Z’s WDTPRS blog has pithy explanations.
@@isaachaar7439 can you explain it?
@@isaachaar7439 No, they are not. The excommunications were invalid and did not follow canon law properly.
sound ruins it
I put headphones on and it was much better.
In a word ...no
