27:12 When they were discovered, they had been used as fodder for the experiments and became Warframes. While Jade had been impregnated before the processed occurred as per the dialogue, the child survived the process, still developing within her.
Yeah, they are like Umbra where they managed to keep their consciousness when infested and turned into warframes. I'm under the impression that Jade was turned into a warframe while pregnant as well but the Orokin either turned her while pregnant or didn't know she was pregnant when she was turned into a Warframe and found out about it afterwards.
I guess the Orokin did eventually find out about the pregnancy and turned them both into warframes as punishment, and Jade was still pregnant despite becoming a warframe.
@@t20bry33 Good question. Perhaps Stalker thought Jade was among the people the Tenno killed and Stalker believed that we robbed him of his lover and unborn child. I guess he did not know that she was turned into a warframe. But this leads to another question. Where has Jade been all this time between the events of her transformation into a warframe and the events of the mission?
@@astephens3600 I doubt the Stalker "remembered", given how he wonders in the beggining the motive of why Jade saved him (Wich i imagine was on the orokin slaugther). The thing is that stalker was surprised at the discovery of the operator which means he didn’t know about them at all. So it’s possible that Jade and Stalker are both umbral frames but clearly jade took massive damage
@@archon7105 Indeed, for from the lore presently in game, Stalker had believed the Prime Warframes of the Old War (i.e. those who fought in the Old War) had been like him, but had betrayed the Golden Masters, until he saw us for what we were and couldn’t bring himself to kill us, until Hunhow declared his hatred wasn’t enough and took control, prior to War being broken. Warframes are not empty pieces of machinery. Have you forgotten The Sacrifice? Also yes, Stalker will not fight if a Jade is in the squad. He simply says "Never", drops his loot and leaves.
I have a theory: This quest had to happen now for WF1999. I think when we return from WF1999, we're going to experience a time jump. We will return at a future date from when we leave. The Stalker will become a "Guardian" of the Origin System while we're gone, he has the motivation to do it now. When we get back, the Warframe Child will likely grow up, where it potentially sets up Stalker receiving an overhaul. And then, we will likely acquire him. Also: Sorren and Jade were turned into warframes...meaning Jade was infected while being pregnant. This just makes Ballas all the more sinister.
Looks like Jade and Stalker are both Umbra, they where once people, turned into warframes, with enough will to allow her to partially protect the baby in her womb from oblivion, the voracity of the infestation and him, a burning reckless hate keeping him from going totally insane but forgetting most of what he was before the transformation.
Yeah this quest is wild. Also that one dev stream question aged like a fine wine Also the last person to stab the Tenno was ballas. And yeah it didn’t end well for him
Stalker and Jade didn't have operators. Sorren was turned into a warframe like Umbra was. Sorren IS Stalker and Jade IS Jade. Stalker and Jade in this quest are umbral frames, autonomous.
Also that explain "Lower Guardians" in Stalker lore are Umbras, peoples turn into first versions of each warframes. Each story in Index or Laveria is about original frames/Umbra who was never have operator. And operators was use mass produced, infested clones dolls based on originals
@@ishiblack7497 about the term "Umbra" that we use to describe autonomous frames. It's my belief that it's not a class of Warframes, it's the name of the person that was turned into the Warframe.
So from what I understand is that Jade most likely took part in the slaughtering of the Orokin but eventually re-gain control of herself and saved stalker from the Tenno’s wrath at the cost of being severely injured and pouring all of her energy in to keeping their child alive.🐱
No. Any of Umbras aka OG frames, aka Lower Guardians was not controled by Tenno. Slaughter was mostly made by Tenno under influence of Lotus. But im sure some of them use occasion during chaos to get revange on their slavers, like Voruna or Ash. Stalker was probably brainwashed as part of his punishment to protect his masters instead his family and after Orokin gone, he go insane.
People don't seam to hear she was pregnant before she became a warframe in the Lua dialogue part she was turned into a warframe while pregnant easy explanation.
I Imagine, like Umbra, Soren/Stalker was going to be turned into an Excalibur warframe by default but their consciousnesses surviving made them into something different. Jade kept her consciousness as well when turned into a warframe but I wonder if she was designed to be the Jade Warframe or was she meant to be one of the other warframes but developed into a unique warframe and kept her consciousness because she was pregnant (I.e. more motivation to keep her mind)?

This confirms that Stalker is an umbral warframe, now he’s a father and his wife died, giving birth to their child
It was already known he was a Low Guardian, which are cannon fodder warframes, like those who died during Ivara’s trial.
He still could still definitely have another form somewhere on lua, that’s why I think he’s at lua

They are not operators they are like umbra
this is the first time umbra has been mentioned since his quest. Disappointing
*very* ,he has so much potential
Can Warframes get pregnant? Do you remember that question? This is the answer to that question i guess, kinda.
They'd have to be converted into Warframes while pregnant. They probably can't conceive, but they can carry a baby to term.
They can't, as Jade was pregnant before she was turned into a warframe.
