  • Part 1- Building the Waterbrake
I will be using this dyno for testing different zenoah engines, pipes and carbs for the losi 5ive t, hpi baja and also rc boats, Hydros etc But also to improve my 30.5 engine build and lastly to see what easy diy mods can yield the most power for you guys.
    Thanks for Watching

I know this video was a couple years ago. But I had to comment on your incredible skills and ingenuity. I think this is totally awesome. My dyno for Zenoahs is different airplane propellers and a tachometer. Much appreciation for what you’ve done here!!

I have to smile as i also use hacksaw on my lathe to cut pieces of when to lazy to setup parting tool😃👍 very nice design. Going to look into this, racing 3off 1mtr cat boats with 26cc zenoah engines. Nice vid👍

Are willing to share some cad drawing. I'm interested in your design and would modify and enlarge to work with 4 stroke Briggs and Stratton Engines around 10-15 hp. thanks for your video and great work on your design... :)

What did you use to cover the bearings?

Just oil seals but I removed the springs for a bit less drag

Yes it’s very much the same, depending on power you would probably have pockets on both sides of the rotor

Hi, awesome job! Whats the maximum hp it can hold back? Im thinking of buildone a similar one with a dual sided rotor to increase its capacity (aiming for 100hp maximum)

Thank you man, i am not sure yet it has been on hold but i expect it to hold 20hp, it is all up and running but the drive shaft keeps snapping so i need to redesign that, the vibrations are a problem

Actually, do you have the sae paper on calculating the hp it can handle? I purchased it this week, its a bit of a read! But your design might be more efficient than you think. What rpm do these engines get to?
