- A video that I made because I was feeling a bit retrospective.
Sorry about the somewhat choppy framerate on the scenes from the latest episode. I had to use atypical means to record and it didn't end up with the best results.
I would just like to say that I do not own the video or audio for this video. RWBY is owned by Rooster Teeth.
Not gonna lie, this is one of the greatest, most intimidating villain monologues I’ve heard
......Listening to this again after Jin's story is.......... interesting.
U know salem can be very attractive and can be very scary at the same time especially her eyes can glow red.
Fun fact: Salem's voice actress also plays Cortana, Zoey from Left 4 Dead, and also Princess Peach until 2006.
I get why Salem and Ozpin are the ones giving the monologue now
She almost sounded pained when she mentioned light returning to darkness, maybe a glimpse of her descent from the white wearing good salem to the monster she is now, maybe a glimpse of regret for what she became
I don't really now why but I just love the twist that the narrator turned out to be the big bad.
Funny how she couldn’t wait to watch Ozpin burn only to end up on the receiving end in Volume 8, irony at its finest
And now Rooster Teeth is shutting down. Perhaps Salem was right all along...
Someone didn't take not getting the house in the settlement too well.
“And I can’t wait, to watch you burn” - Salem
salems reveal, her slow transition from narrator to straight up villain was a masterstroke, showcasing someone bigger than cinder, and to top it all off, a 'human' grimm
“The ability to derive strength from hope is undoubtedly mankind's greatest attribute... which is why I will focus all my power... to snuff it out.”
Got goosebumps when she said burn and showed pyrrha being burned :'( nice video and really cool editing :D
omg words can not explain how things hit the fan i was not expecting jen Taylor to voice such a demonic looking character the whole season answered some questions but ended up leaving holes in small parts.
This is even more relevant in volume 7...
This is absolutely incredible. Great work. I love how you overlapped scenes from Volume 3 over Salem's second monologue. It makes her even more menacing and foreboding.
Now I need all of this and ozpin's new monologue all mashed together...
Is nobody going to talk about that flawless transition from Volume 1 to Volume 3's monologue?
And then Volume 4 started and everything melted. Marvelous!
