Great video. I could not figure out why my septic alarm kept going off. This video was a clinical step-by-step instruction on how to fix the problem. I ordered the replacement diaphragm kit on Monday. It was delivered yesterday and it only took about 20 minutes to replace out the old parts. Seriously, even though this video was made in 2011 I was able to follow along and make the fix. I turned on the system afterwards and it immediately started working the flashing red aeration light went off, the beeping stopped and the green Ready light is on. The kit costs $99 with free shipping. The estimates I got from the septic companies to come out to look at my unit ranged from $100-$400 with repairs. Thanks Septic Solutions!
This was a great help. I will be glad to order from your company because your company seems to be one that is interested in helping their customers. Thanks again !
Mines not like that and I got it from you guys about 10 years ago. My datagrams seem to be backwards and I don't have a plastic screw for the emergency disconnect, mine looks like a relay or something. Does that make any sense to you at all
Hello. My compressor is two years old, I changed the rubber membranes today because they were deteriorated. Now, after a few hours, I see that the supercharger seems hot to me. Do you have this problem on these models? I never noticed that before, but I don't remember whether it was heating or not. Moreover, I find the air that comes out extremely hot too.
You should mention when the safety screw is broken indicates there is at least one diaphram broken, replace both of them and replace safety screw , should install the new switch design, screw sucks
Thank You for the video. In this video the plastic safety screw was installed backwards from the Hiblow installation manual. I'm guessing it does not really matter. Additional cleaning steps would be helpful.
Don't try to reset the newer style safety switch with brute force, you will need to open the diaphragm cases on both sides and manually slide the motor magnet back and forth to reseat the micro switch.
Excellent video! I have a Clearstream cs103el. It is the same design. The heads say HP-60, 80 on them. Is it a remarked Hiblow? Can I use the Hiblow kit on mine? The saftey screw is broken and the one head I removed the diaphragm was shot. Thanks!
REINSTALLED THE PUMP AND FOUND OUT THE AIR HOSE GOING INTO THE HOUSE WAS LOOSE AND WAS TIGHTNED. THE PUMP SOUND VERY GOOD AND I CHECKED THE 1/8 TUBE AND LOTS OF AIR COMING OUT. WENT INTO THE HOUSE AND PLUGGED IN POWER. GOULD PUMP ALARM BOX IS NOT SOUNDING BT RED LIGHT IS STILL ON. ANY ADVICE?
I have mine running for the first time on the system, and it feels like it's blowing hot air for the PVC line felt hot. and it wasn't getting any sun light. Could this be OK.
BUZZER GOING OFF. TOOK MINE APART HP80 AND BOTH DIAPHARMS IN GOOD SHAPE AND SAFETY SCREW IS GOOD AND NOT BROKEN. AIR BLOWING FREELY OUT OF AIR COMPRESSOR. ANY REASON THE BUZZER IS GOING OFF? CAN I RESET THE BUZZER? PLEASE ADVISE

Great training job should have shown the pin you replaced on top so they could see what it looks like!
yes, a semi-vital item of assembly to demonstrate. Otherwise same as other videos.

Christopher Smith I was wondering the same thing...

Is this the same as the Hoot Troy air pump parts? It looks about the same.

Are the hp-40 pumps and parts going to be discontinued? If so I will buy the parts kit now. thanks
The Hiblow HP Series is currently in production and there are no plans in motion to discontinue the pumps or parts for the HP series.
Does the safety screw come with the kit as well?
Yes it does
how long are these supposed to run on your system, like stay on.
These air pumps run 24/7 year round.
