ProApto Stalking Hood® - Ghillie - Product Overview

The ProApto Stalking-Hood is a modernized and enhanced version of the classic Viper Hood. Our redesign boasts improved features and a longer back for better coverage. As part of this new and improved Viper Hood design, we avoided fabric entirely, as it can easily rip and get wet, and replaced it with lightweight netting.

The mesh base is silent, extra-resistant, highly breathable and waterproof, and as such it does not absorb sweat or get wet. The base also maximizes situational awareness since the large 2.5 centimeters mesh enables to see through. In the same vein, also the large mesh does not absorb sound waves as fabric does resulting in virtually no impact on hearing.
In addition, the whole base enables to apply 3D camouflage or natural elements in its entire surface. Moreover, the base it is MOLLE-compatible, allowing you to attach small pouches, radios, knives and range finders to the chest area.
The ghillie base is fully adjustable according gear and equipment variations. The base also features the ProApto PVF-Hood system which secures the hood to the head while ensuring maintenance of the normal eye visual field.
the ProApto Stalking-Hood is modular and can be implemented with a removable back extension and face and chest covers.
Furthermore, it can be combined with the Pro-Apto Multipurpose Ghillie Cape Shelter 1, resulting in the Multipurpose Modular Stalking Suit. This stalking suit conceals a large portion of the body, as well as backpacks of several sizes.
As all the ProApto ghillies, the Stalking-Hood guarantees Visible and Near infra-red camouflage while offering mitigation of the heat signature in the thermal infrared spectrum.
The Stalking-Hood can be produced in each of the ProApto standardized ghillie camouflage patterns, according to operational and environmental contingencies.
The weight of the Stalking-Hood varies between 350g and 850 grams depending on the pattern chosen.
