Almost 40 years old and I decided to pick up a pair of drumsticks a little over a year ago after daydreaming about it for probably 20 years. I've started upgrading my kit and can play some easy covers decently. Everything about this guy's performance is exactly how I want to be able to play one day. It's absolutely mesmerizing to me.

💯 but i got a kit last week at 52 years old! Have wanted a set my entire life. Finally did it. My limb independence sucks, but I will get there. And agreed on this performace! Mesmerizing and absolutely would love to get this tune down! My F’ing right hand wants to follow this bass pedal groove though - driving me crazy - can’t seem to seperate the two 😂

He is one of the best professional free flowing drummer I've seen in a good min. I'm a drummer myself and play out a lot and meet a good bit of some kick ass drummers, as well seen on RUclips. But his style throws every last one I've seen out the competition, keep on beating those drums man. Beat on man you got the beats on track!!!!!

As much as I searched around, I couldn't find a better cover than this one. it is pure beauty and perfection, it transmits a feeling of surrender towards something unattainable but also the hope of being reciprocated in an imaginary universe, the only force that generates the drive to move forward.

Matt rides the line between overplaying and putting on a good show perfectly. There's enough there for it to be entertaining and impressive and it never feels like he's overdoing it.

Now back to this song , it aint the first time i had listened to it. Never really payed attention . I'm listening again today as a learning drummer and I feel the emotion on the drums I feel anger, frustration and the voice . Damn!!! I want to learn how to play this. One of those things my team battles everyday, it's a very tough time for major platforms vs record labels & all else in-between. You may have to watch it on a computer or different device. Never the less... this is just another reason why I am so heavily into the EDM Scene.
