He was fabulous! My generation had never heard anything like him before. We screamed, fainted and wore his fashions. Both boys and girls had their hair cut like his. My mother thought I had gone insane. He was considered dangerous to youth, lol.

Freddie mercury wrote the song "crazy little thing called love" about Elvis...Freddie was a huge fan of Elvis. I love the 68 special, Elvis was phenomenal and not to mention, how outrageously hot 😍 he looked!!
Playful is a good word for his "maneuvers.". He was what I would call a good bad boy. When he does what he does with a wink and a nod on the side in plain sight, you like it all the more. Later years it could be on auto pilot and heavy...so nice to recall these sorts of times.

Love the 68 comeback special hard to believe elvis was so nervous and worried about doing this special and how the fans would take him after being gone for so long..but he did amazing he dont seem nervous to me
he was so nervous tht he told producer Steve Binder @ last minute that he wasn't going to go out there & Binder said i don't care if you walk out, say hello then walk off, but you're going out; obviously it all worked out very well

This from his 4 th movie King Creol in 1958.
Probably his best movie and definitely his most critically acclaimed one.
It was also Elvis's favorite movie out of the 31 movies he starred in.
Highly recommend checking it out, this isn't the whole song in this video but you can see the whole thing in the movie as well as several others.

I've always loved Three Dog Night. Saw them live a couple of times. Cory was always my favorite... three great singers in the band but his bluesy voice always was so good.💙☮
