You did a great job putting this video together! The shots where you're using the sewing machine look really cool! I can see from the comments that other people agree with me!
This was great! What I need next are easy vids for shortening glove fingerlengths with hand sewing. If anyone has vids for that, my leather belay gloves and leather work gloves are always long in the fingers.
@Timlikestohike ...I'm sure I'll be covering that problem... ...I'll reveal that soon enough... ...I'll show you my solution if you show me yours... ...I got you covered... 😎
Good tip! For me, I have always been partial to using thread scissors, i feel like i have a lot more control over how much tension I am putting on the thread I am trying to cut. Thanks for watching, Shawn! 🌲👍🌲
It's funny, when you see the tone of the leather in the repair it looks like you can see the pads of your fingers though a hole. Like no repair was made. Lol Seriously though, very nice work. Thank you for sharing.
Oh, that's a very good looking repair! I'd like to make my work leather gloves fit better since I have shorter fingers. I'd like to cut a little off the fingers of the gloves and restitch it. How should I do it? I can't find a tutorial on it. Please make one ☺ Thank you!!
I bought new gloves that were a little defective on the thumb area, can I repair that? The left thumb is a tiny bit shorter than the right thumb & the thumb/palm area was stitched tighter on the left side.
God I wish I had this level of free time to do it right. Dude I got 4 kids, I can’t completely re sow gloves back together. Shoe goo was made for hacks like me.
I appreciate the no fuss, no annoying music or narration or edits so much. Thank you! This was exactly what I was looking for.

Good job!
Thanks for the excellent video, now I can repair my gloves 😊
Well done! Thank you for this. I go through a glove a year with wear at the fingertips like in your video. Keep up the good work!!
Thanks for making this! Easy to follow and I got my job done👍🏻. Saved having to buy a new pair of $200 motorcycle gloves!
This was really relaxing and satisfying to watch. Nice to switch it up.
Thanks for the feedback... I too find the silent-work vids very satisfying... i hope to make more!
awesome, quality advice
Music, you are the most positive person on the internet. You seriously inspire me to troll less and love more 🙏

Very cool I'm going to give it a go. Lord knows I have several 3 fingered gloves. Thanks
Awesome, James! The project is pretty straight forward, have fun! 🌲👍🌲
Is this how the new channel is going to be amigo? Very informative and instructional.
I think so... more sewing-centric will reduce my RUclips views... but I really like making them!
You do you Jadawg! I dig learning new things so I'll still be a subscriber.
Love the new logo!!!!! Good tip my friend! I actually have a pair I need to repair haha
I hope u can repair them, I'm stoked on how easy it was... they are better than new!🌲👍🌲
(Major channel changes coming!)😉
TheBestBackpacker yes sir!!!!!

I think a stitch ripper (might not be actual name) would work better to cut the thread, has a finer point for picking them out

This was pretty impressive! Turned out great!
Also... has anyone told you you could be a hand model? I mean, mustache model too, obviously...😉
LOL, I just hand-sewn off the unwound threads then glued a leather patch over the hole and it works great...
Where did you buy the leather for the patches?

hello, how would you do for a glove with non removable lining?
I bought new gloves that were a little defective on the thumb area, can I repair that? The left thumb is a tiny bit shorter than the right thumb & the thumb/palm area was stitched tighter on the left side.
very nice job you did but I have a question how could you prevent that from wearing a hole in the first place
You could use thicker leather for the fingertips
nice work boss.
Inspirational!

How about ecko motocross gloves?
Gee, they make a lot of models of gloves... anything leather and stitched can be repaired! 🌲👍🌲

@@ksanders249 ya! Those look like a great candidate to get a repair! I'd say give it a try! 👍
A hole in my work glove caused my finger tips to cut by demolition material, painful. I need to watch a video on how to use a sewing machine.
My wife could do that but not me...😀
Haha, I bet you could! 😉
Good videos, but missed your normal intro.
