Fully agree with your #1 and #2!! Had sooooo much fun with #2 and I'm currently infatuated with #1!! I can't stop painting and playing it! Also, for Nemesis, you can play it true solo as an alternate game mode found in the back of the rulebook. That's how I intend to play it with my wife because we can't stand backstabbing in games hah. Nice video and nice list. A lot of common hitters, but great quality and explaining of those games. I just started getting into board games. Most of the ones you showed are definitely on my short list.
Only half of this in dungeon crawler :D Anyway place nr2 is by far best "dc" for me. I really surprise there is no Sword & Sorcery, Tanares Adventures, Cthulu Death may die or Bloodborne :) Jaws of the lion is a puzzle euro game for me xD
So many Dungeon Crawlers out there, everyone's top 10 is based on what they own and have played. It would be cool for people to start with the full list of games and what made the top 10. Excluding Boss Battlers (ATO, KDM, Oathsworn). My current list (Not in any order) : Shadows of Brimstone, Conan, OrcQuest, Dungeon Saga Origins, Dungeon Universal's, League of Dungeoneers, Massive Darkness 2, Tanares, Nova Aetas, Deep Rock Galactic, Machina Arcana, DMD. Played/Owned but did not make the List : Arkeis, Gloomhaven, Bardsung, Sword and Sorcery, Middara, Folklore, Decent, Alter Quest.
My favorite would have to be Nemesis. It never fails to deliver, even when somebody gets out of the game due to escaping or dying it's still lots of fun for us just to watch. And if you follow a few simple tips, early deaths are completely avoidable... Well, you can always have the ship explode cause of fires early on hahaha😂 Best gaming experiences we have had.🍻
Most of these are PVE Skirmishers, at least in my books. Maybe, if you split lists in Skirmishers and actual Dungeon Crawlers next year, you will have enough space for all the CMON games? Anyways, still interesting list, thanks!
there are so many great games out there im not willing to make a top 10 list. i would have 3 games on nr. 1 and 3 more on nr. 2 and so on. the list would be to big. i agree with your list and i own most of the games mentioned but i do have several more i love to play and they are all great too. we life in a great time for boardgamers the only thing that is bad, i dont have enough time to play them all. Descent, Oathsworn, massive darkness 2, marvel zombies, nemesis, zombicide 2nd and black plaque, mice and mystik, aftermath, cthulhu death may die, and so many more sitting on my shelf waiting to be played more often... i need more T..I..M..E.. :)

I would have Zombicide ( any version although I don't have Marvel), Massive Darkness and Nemesis in my top 10. Nemesis can be played fully co-op, without the hidden traitor element. My favourite dungeon crawler of this year has to be League of Dungeoneers, which I love!
@@JustAGeekyDad it is a real old school style crawler. It came with loads of standees but I have enough miniatures in my collection to use those instead.
Nice effective video! Long enough to describe the top-10, short enough not be boring. I've got already some of them but for some others you spark my curiosity. Massive Darkness Hellscape in 2nd for me it's a surprise. I love CMON minis so I am not objective but I understood from various reviews that both the 1st version and the 2nd were not so exciting in the mid term. Zombicide in all its versions is really cool: love Black Plague, 2nd Ed. and obviously Marvel Zombies. Easy to learn, right play time. Luckily (for my wallet) I don't like sci-fi alien-like games so Nemesis is out of range🙂 It's strange you have not mentioned Heroquest. Great, especially if considered as renewal of the classic original one, a bit dull in the gameplay (a bit too basic).
Why strike games out, just because of the same publisher? A top 10 shouldn't biased like that. I would suggest you to play Sword & Sorcery: Ancient Chronicles. This is imho no 1.
If I tried to come up with a similar list, I would probably fill it with cmon games as well. The miniatures and the simplicity just makes my monkey ameritrash brain go brrrrr
Just my opinion but I don’t class a lot of the games on your list as dungeon crawlers. As much as I love Nemesis or Zombicide I don’t think they belong on a dungeon crawler list. Games such as Middara, Chronicles of Drunagor, Sword & Sorcery, Folklore the Affliction, Deep Madness and League of Dungeoneers for example are what I consider true dungeon crawlers
I think nemesis, cthulhu death may die and zombicide are not dungeon crawler. Because there is no exploration. Map are already revealed at the start of the game. That is "crawler" is all about slowly revealing the map

What did you not like about Middara?
I am a mostly solo player, Middara just became too much of a grind over time. Lost interest in the fights. I really did like the story. @@JPNox
