The senators well know that the Attorney General cannot and will not comment on current investigations. When they ask him for his opinion the AG cannot give an opinion but only answers based upon the law.
So they use their time to yell, accuse and spread wild conspiracy theories and there's not much he can do about it.

The only violence that took place at the school board meetings was caused by members of the school board who refused to hear what the parents had to say, and the parents were therefore ordered to be removed by security or law enforcement. There is video of that happening. Those members should have been sued immediately before they had to time to concoct that letter.
It's pure irony that school board members would accuse parents of violence and terrorism. They are the ones who initiated physical force.
Also, the father, whose daughter was molested and the molester wasn't charged. Then, the father was arrested for asking questions.

If it wasn't for this young lady's Father calling the board out likely nothing would have been done. They all should be in the slammer for a long time.
Lawsuits should be the way to go, aimed at the principal or person responsible for bringing law enforcement in on the matter,on a personal basis. Free speech is for everyone, not just the school board members. It should also be noted that the school children belong to their parents, not the school, or the government. As Pink Floyd says, "leave those kids alone".....

Columbia MO school board halted a meeting and had the mother removed from the meeting -police escorted her out-simply because she was telling the Board she had 14 unanswered emails regarding her child & she named the persons on the Board & in the school who had ignored her request/emails concerning the issues the mother wanted resolved concerning her special needs child.

Actually he pretty clearly said that Kennedy's remarks were incorrect and he pointed out that the memorandum explicitly protected acts of free speech. Kennedy apparently got the message because he shifted from what the memorandum said to what people might imagine the memorandum meant.

You choose to ignore the fact that he is in charge of the entire DOJ with 115,000 employees. So if there are a couple of cases he doesn’t know the specifics of, I think that is understandable. Kennedy drones on about the chilling effect this program has had on parents at school board meetings. I truly don’t see that in anyway shape or form. Opens with the importance of protecting free speech rights. I believe it has had a chilling effect on threats and violence at school meetings. Maybe you could share your plan to stop these issues at school board meetings?

It is simply the way the left has decided to deal with oversight. They keep the decision making at the lower levels, and zero accountability with anyone who might end up at an oversight hearing. There is noise for a few weeks, and then it fades away. Honestly, the strategy is brilliant. Frustratingly brilliant.
I seem to remember all this occurred over an incident in Langley, Virginia, where a school introduced gender neutral bathrooms. Then a transgender male, raped a young girl. The school accused her of lying and attempted to bury the story. The parents, naturally, were upset and at a school meeting where attempts by the school authorities to silence the parents and accuse them of lying, made the parents even more upset. The father of the raped girl was not allowed to speak, was assaulted by the Police, who threw him to the ground and arrested him. Next we hear about the Memo and the letter written by the School Board with help from Garland's Department. Next the DOJ classified the parents as "Domestic Terrorists". Why is Merrick Garland still in his position? Clearly he wants to destroy our values, our children, and trample the Constitution, he is the terrorists. Also, the rapist was sent to another school were he did the same thing. But our representatives choose to do nothing.
Let’s not forget that the school board denied both rapes ever happened until they could cover up their lies anymore.
