I love your videos, always so clear & concise. Your steps are easy to duplicate. It was so wonderful to meet you at the California Ontario Convention center after viewing dozens of your videos. I will send you a photo of my first "quilt as you go" project that I completed for Christmas. Your method makes it so easy to do fabulous quilting on each block, I would otherwise never be able to afford to pay for the custom quilting charges if someone else did it for me on a longarm machine.

Love the variety and the ingenuity that you have to come up with all these. I spend hours watching your videos. Sometime more than once. You are my hero.

Every time I see you making these sashings, I love seeing the finished sashing. The hardest thing is deciding what size to start with. You are a 'star' to have worked this out for us.

Thank you very easy to follow. I have a query re 3” shashing. Do you need to quilt the strip, if so do you do it after folding to the centre. Thanks

Hi Bevley, Pauline prefers to quilt the Sashings after she has joined them to the quilt 😊 You could quilt it after you've put the batting in the strip if you would prefer, but the quilting won't go through the spacer strip (backing strip). I hope that helps - just let me know if you have any more questions!

LOVE your videos! How would one go about getting the correct length (example the triangles) so that none get cut off at the end?

Do recommend any specific threads for quilting and sewing

Hi Lisa, we sure do! The MonoPoly thread is great when you don't want your thread to show, the Wonderfil DecoBob threads are great for Controlled Quilting and the variegated colours of the Wonderfil FabuLux threads are perfect for highlighting your quilting 😊 You can find them all on our website here: pqw.com.au/product-category/machine-quilting
