Good to see the company that started the RUclips review doing a comeback. Also good strategy to focus on two sizes 1100mm and the Jets. Although I saw this weekend an unbooxing from a person with a Banana.... Shirt. They need to improve quality of the production video
Massive. Flying my first 64mm EDF jet right now to learn on (Arrows Marlin). Then moving up to 70mm E-Flite Viper next followed by 80mm Freewing Avanti S afterwards. All 3 ready to go. This thing is scary big. Can’t wait to see you fly it!
Great looking plane from BH. Lets hope they upped their customer service and spare parts for their planes because I dropped BH years ago because of the issues aforementioned.
I would seriously take another look at them. they have an entirely new management team and all the old employees are gone. they have an entirely new team there:)
Rich-I’m impressed with the quality on this one from Banana Hobby. So have you talked the BOOZERS into getting one yet? I know they have an EDF event coming up soon....😁. Can’t wait to see you maiden this one. 👍👍
Omg , that is one big beautiful L-39 Rich. As i am from the UK , it would interesting to see the cost of shipping this over to the uk....Big salute 👍👊🇬🇧
Looks great but I hope they've improved the undercarriage. I bought the big B25 and two of the landing gear units packed up during the build and test, LX didn't want to know, I replaced them all with E-flite units, no trouble since then.
Hi Rich, this one seems to be a high quality product. L-39 is a well known plane and I also like the size. Questionable is the durability of the landing gear for 7kg weight. I like the electric 12S setup. Does Bananahobby have a warehouse in Europe?
Only concern I see is the opening from the front to the actual EDF, is there like a wall that separates the front from the back so nothing gets sucked into the EDF?
Quick Question... How does it fly off of grass... I have an HSD Viper and it takes an enormous amount of runway to break ground. Have to apply full flaps and high elevator. Running 6000 MAH 50 c batteries so that should be fine. Comments or ideas welcome...
Ideally I was going to use at 12 Channel has the website recommends because there are some things you wish to separate like the nose steering, air brake, etc. But maybe you can get away with a 9 Channel like I have the ar9350 with AS3X.
Hi Rich love to channel and I watch every episode but my question is I want the blue one is the blue one the same but the price is just different and I’m only buying it because you have one I’ll buy it off of your website
Hello Rich , customers should know. Love the look and size of the EDF but I had issues with my L-39, one carbon rod missing in the fuselage, and the carbon rods all fit so tight I struggled getting them in. The carbon spar went into the right wing 4 inches and I had a hell of time getting it back out. The aluminum tubes had burs inside them which is very difficult to get in far enough to remove the burrs. I even tried sanding the inner carbon rods, not happy, called tech and they said I should of called before trying to force fit them. Technician basically said too bad. Anyone else have these issues? Not Happy!
Contact Carrie directly at: carrieLau.Jet@gmail.com ... it sounds like you got a "one off" with some issues. My spars are tight but that is good. Often parts get lost in the bot as they float around sometimes in the box. Check the box carefully for the spar, & the small spar MAY BE INSIDE THE BIG SPAR! Please let me know what happens.
@@RCINFORMER I have followed your videos for quite a while. It is true, that the company's building these planes have gotten better. ( Landing gear and strengthening the design components of their air craft ). The finish still needs work. Mayor flaw, aluminum tape over electrical wires, big nono, the edge of aluminum tape is like razor blades for the wires, a short is iminent a matter of time. Happen over and over.
The quality of the 1st generation models was not that great now quality is fantastic. Additionally banana hobby has an all new staff and their focusing 100% on after sales service! This new model is probably the biggest and best that I have seen!
I bought a BNF trainer airplane, there was a glitch on checkout and got charged shipping when the site offered free shipping. Customer service responded immediately via TEXT! Within ten minutes shipping refunded. RC plane was packed well, and at my door in less than five days to where I live. Electronics still working good afte ten flights! *It is my experience so far with them. Tower Hobbies, MotionRC and HobbyKing have messed up my orders a few time, fyi.
I'm very disappointed at the battery compartment /snout / cockpit etc , how do designers blow this ! Very poorly reinforced . especially when using the 12c cargo . Not being a biatch .
This is fantastic. Now they need to come out with a 105mm edf F-86 Sabre.😀

WOW What a BEAUTIFUL PLANE. THANKS for sharing this with us RICH🇬🇧🛬✈️🚁🛩️♥️ RC 👍😁
That’s really nice Rich, did look at the site yesterday, some sweet planes. Just need to see the shipping costs to the UK. Look forward to building👍🏻
Beautiful Rich, banana is killin the game, May have to get this one, thanks for sharing
Foam models have been redefined with these AF Models at Banana Hobby! The bar has been raised, the die has been cast, the gauntlet has been dropped:)
@@RCINFORMER no I doubt...I need the jet👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Wow Rich, fantastic. Looking forward to the flight. Me and Ron need to come out and see it fly.
This 105 is a game changer. Time will tell where the game leads.
Great video. But where is Pete from Banana? He had cool videos too😃
Pete is no longer with Banana Hobby....
Can't wait to see this one fly!
Amazing quality. Other manufacturers should see this foam model construction! Look at the elevator construction :)
This model far exceeds the quality of other models!

I don't think they have an International warehouse but you could contact them and ask about getting their models over to you!
That thing is going to sound like a real jet.
The L39 is one of the most forgiving jets.
Only concern I see is the opening from the front to the actual EDF, is there like a wall that separates the front from the back so nothing gets sucked into the EDF?
great EDF plane!
Awesome!!!!

i need this asap! tthis looks better than the big HSD models

I've had this jet in mind a few months already my wife said I could use our stimulus money to buy it except ours stimulus got delayed.

Hi where i can get the Pnp version on Banana hobby only saw the ARF
Thanks for the info
The plugin play version is coming very soon contact carrielau.jet@gmail.com
@@RCINFORMER AWESOME THANKS FOR THE INFO
What speed controller are you using?
How would you rate this airframe against the HSD airframes?
Looks cool and all but why would you buy a 1500€ FOAM plane that looks like trash after 1 year....
Nice nice 👍👍👍👍
Nice
For the money you spend, the fit and finish should be better and completely 100% smooth!!!!
I agree, I have noted the irregularities to the factory

It's for the heat from the turbine version of the plane. However, good point, I don't have the heat of the turbine, I may just change the tape:)
