Hi my friend! You won the giveaway. Message me at the email in the description and we'll get together and figure out how to get you this booster box! Thanks!
just found out about this game a couple weeks ago, and i've been kinda obsessed. opened a few boosters now so i'm excited to get my collection going. been watching so many videos on sleeving and storing, until i realized i never actually watched a video of someone who's collected the whole set. both this and the first chapter video were enjoyable watches. thanks for sharing and congrats on your collection!
Wow! Nice going! I always love your master set videos and this one is great as usual. I've picked up some troves and packs of Floodborn, trying to decide if/when I'm going to dive in.
These master set videos are fantastic. It’s great to see the layout in the binder but also all the artwork of the set. Thanks for making these. Can’t wait to see what is next.
Wow! I myself am trying to collect the complete master set on Lorcana, and I am also a Magic player, but I never really collected the cards. With Lorcana, I'm much more interested in collecting them, than playing (even though I have the decks, my friends keep telling me that Lorcana is aimed at "children" and I'm "weird" for liking it.) I don't care what they say though, as Lorcana is nostalgic for me as I, like many grew up watching Disney.
I'll be 47 this year. I mention that because I started playing Magic in 97 when I was a mere lad of 20 lol. I've played Magic off and on over the last 27 years. In addition, I've played at least a dozen other card games for at least long enough to give them an honest try. Only TWO have ever made me think that I could never play Magic again and be completely content playing the newer games only. One of those is Lorcana; the other was the WoW TCG. Pokémon was a fun game, but it definitely had elements that were watered down compared to Magic and YGO. It's also clearly more aimed at kids and collectors and trying to play competitively as an adult could have been an issue, so I just stopped playing once I dipped too far into my 20s, even though I bought some decks and packs from time to time. Old habits and all that. YGO was an amazing game that had a definite emphasis on combo, which appeals greatly to me as a combo player. The issue is that Konami went out of their way to power creep the game. There was a time when actual archetypes existed in YGO. From what I've seen of the current meta, through my daughter's boyfriend playing competitively, is that it's basically win on turn one or lose. Moving on to the WoW TCG, it had almost everything that Magic had, with the exception of Instants and Flash type gameplay. Honestly, once you get used to it, you realize that it's considerably more challenging to maximize your resource spending every turn, while anticipating what your opponent can do with what's on board and what could be in hand. It's a shame that Blizzard decided to dumb down the game and make it digital only with the creation of Hearthstone. That bring us to Lorcana; I can't say enough good about this game. There are currently two paths to winning: scoring 20 Lore before your opponent, or having your opponent deck themselves (there are currently no mill decks per se, but you can make opponents draw cards). The framework is set up such that it will be very easy to add additional win cons a la Magic within the cards themselves. You can actually score points without ever interacting with your opponent, which is good for finding ways to go over or under a deck that you otherwise couldn't. For example, aggro works such that you literally ignore your opponent's board state and just concentrate on scoring Lore. This then forces your opponent to need to interact with you. They've got to challenge your characters to banish them, otherwise they lose. There are already ways to win without just questing for Lore with characters. The second set introduced a card that gives Lore on ETB (technically it's when you play the card but shorthand lol). Then it also gives you a Lore upon leaving the board. There's a card that bounces it back to hand for value, and you can literally just win like that while removing your opponent's characters to prevent them from scoring. Hell, they've already got cards that steal Lore from your opponent while adding Lore for you. Targeted removal, bounce, card draw, board wipes, sacrifice effects, roulette wheel spins when a character leaves the board and grabs the next character off the top of your deck, scrying, items (artifacts) and the abuse of them for positive game effects, satisfying combat with the characters that actually has far more depth than a typical Magic battle, STORM. The game has a card that works similarly to Storm. You score Lore with your Beast, deal damage to an opposing character, Ready (Untap) your Beast, and rinse and repeat. It can't got infinite like Storm, but I personally prefer that it's balanced properly. I'm not even a huge Disney fan. I've certainly got characters that I like, but I'm not invested in them. At least, I wasn't, until this game. If you already love Disney, and enjoy playing Magic, you owe it to yourself to give this game a serious try. I bought my first started decks and packs about five weeks ago. I didn't have sleeves for them, so I ahd to wait for them to be ordered and delivered. Since I got the sleeves a bit over two weeks ago, I haven't stopped playing the game or organizing my collection. It's just that good.
Your videos are amazing. The enchanted cards in this series might look better than the last. I remember when you just kept pulling the Pete enchanted that was funny.
I could only dream of having the time, dedication, and money to complete a master set, but for now, seeing it all neat in a binder like that is fantastic 😊 thank you for sharing
I honestly love the collecting just as much as the playing. Creating a good storage and inventory system that balances my collecting and playing needs has been a lot of fun!! Nice to see other people enjoying that side of the hobby too
Such an amazing set! I actually have only bought 1 chapter 1 booster box and ended up pulling the Elsa enchanted! I’m glad you were able to complete that!
Congrats! still trying to finish my set but glad to see you knocked it out. The white binder is perfect I might have to do the same when I finally get there.
I've been wanting to collect TCGs again, and Lorcana looked really fun to try out. Collecting master sets was really fun to do in my Pokemon days so it's really fun to watch your journey on getting your master set. Would love to make similar content like you. Thanks for the great opportunity and inspiring me to collect cards again!
Love the binder videos or the segments where you load up the binder. Seeing another card collector’s way of collecting and taking pride in their cards is something I want to see more of. Would be cool to win the giveaway for this too!
I just started collecting Lorcana. Love the art. Still haven't pulled an Enchanted card. I'm only 5 booster boxes in but those are split between the 1st 2 sets.
As much as I love the cards, I'm loving the binder even more and you led me into a rabbit hole of vault x special edition binders I never even knew existed.
Great video. Working on getting my own collections going now that it's finally available at reasonable prices. Got to open my first box of Foodborne the other night. No enchanted but still a lot of fun. Looking forward to watching you continue the collections with Into the Inklands.
I decided to give collecting a try and it's such a thrill! Very close to a complete set for First Chapter now and started Rise of the Floodborn just recently. I have really enjoyed watching your vids on the mastersets. Congrats! I'm definitely getting a vaultx binder now haha
Its so satisfying to see a MasterSet, I don't personally like collecting cards in binders, as I like playing with my cards, especially if its an expensive card. But I do enjoy seeing these completed sets!
I am amazed to see your Lorcana master sets. Can you please help me with a few tips tricks. How to start? How much it costs? Is it possible if I dont have card shops and a collectors community in my country. Any advice is well taken. Cheers
Definitely possible! Opening 2-4 boxes of lorcana should get you close to a complete set minus foils and enchanteds! So if you like to open, I would recommend that. However, it’s always cheaper ultimately to buy singles. Enchanteds are very expensive though so trading is always best, but you can still “trade” with yourself by selling your own extras online and using that money to get enchanteds for example. Good luck!
Love watching your content. I used to play/collect Pokemon and Magic, and your Lorcana videos really have me itching to hunt again! Thanks for all the effort you put into these videos 🤝
On my way to complete a master set as well. Opened 1 booster box and pulled an enchanted Arthur. Debating on opening another booster box or just buy singles. Great video!
you’re the only one on youtube who completed the first two sets in organized binder, the cold foils make it hard, yes much easier to pick up singles and more viable then ripping to you hit all the enchanted. especially since chapter 3 has 18. i talked to a lorcana artist and he told me chapter 4 & 5 are great sets. even more than 2-3. I have a feeling enchanted cards will be more and more valuable over time. I have over 5000 graded pokemon cards, so i’ve been grading a lot of lorcana instead, but dang this hobby getting super expensive
I enjoy using Vault-X binders as well. Congrats on completing the set! So impressive you were able to get all the enchanteds! My goal to just complete the set minus enchanteds, but my return to get them. Still working on the First Chapter too, but the Elsa enchanted is so expensive!
I have almost completed both sets, just need to cold foils of beast tragic hero and maleficent monstrous dragon and some enchanted, if anyone has those two, I would do things for those cards...
I went a bit soft on completion this time, but I am almost finished, too. Still need Snow white legendary foil and the rest is bulk foils. The 4x playset on top of the complete masterset is completed though.
With a second baby due any day, I’ve had to pause going for two card games at once, but I still keep up with it. I’m almost done with Inklands actually!
@@Pokelou502 That's awesome to hear man! I cant wait to see your inklands set once you're done. At least you can get the product a little cheaper by waiting
Arthur and shere khan are my fav enchanted for sure

These master set videos are fantastic. It’s great to see the layout in the binder but also all the artwork of the set. Thanks for making these. Can’t wait to see what is next.
Super grateful for the accessibility of floodborn! Got a trove for Christmas!
So cool to see the entire collection like that. I hope to find an enchanted sometime for Floodborn

Very cool. Just getting into Lorcana a bit, so nice to see there are other master set collectors out there!
I got myself that same binder! I’m living collecting this chapter and your collection is serious goals.
Thanks for the video, i watch it in the background while doing other stuff. I really like the art on the cards.
Mulan Free Spirit is my current fave. Can’t believe you got the regulars and cold foiled versions… Nice job! 👍

Pulled the Enchanted Arthur in my very first Lorcana booster pack I opened, inside a starting deck. By far my favorite Enchanted artwork!
Absolutely amazing, congratulations on completing your master set
