Love the binders, but how do you store the oversized cards from the gift sets? I would like to keep them with my master set, so i currently use a 3 ring binder with pages that fit the larger cards at the back of my regular pages for that set.
Hey Meredith! To be completely honest, even though we have one of each oversized cards, we don't really "collect" them as much. But, in that case, we either store them inside the official Disney's Lorcana Portfolio Binders (the ones with Surfer Stitch or The Queen on the cover), or we use it as a display in our shelves, with a little plastic raiser to keep it standing up.
I’ve chosen the same vault x colours for the binders. They look great. I’ve even got my teal one ready for Ursula’s return. Unfortunately I’ve not managed to complete a single master set yet 😢
They are great binders. After trying it ourselves for the first time, we just can't find another one that are in the same quality. The biggest issue I have is figuring out what to do once we run out of colors haha! We will be sending you some good luck vibes so you can complete your Master Sets soon! ^^
With your little epoxy key chains you’ll be able to use similar colours again. Who knows there may have released more by the time you run out I think I need more than luck, I need money, lol.
What colours did you use for Ursula’s return and Shimmering skies in the end? I’m thinking Azurite Sea is going to be Teal so either a double or having to change it round.
I've setup my master set binders the same way and it's just so aesthetically satisfying! I've also seen people store their foil and non-foil copies in the same side-loaded pocket within their binder. I would presume they're sleeving both cards, but can imagine that the pockets would get pretty snug with 2 cards + 2 sleeves in them. I wonder what your thoughts are on that, and if storing cards that way could have any long-term impacts
Thanks for the comment! The Master Set looks so pretty with this format, right? We really enjoy it as well. ^^ We sometimes store some of our duplicate cards in the Playset Binder sharing the same slot as well (while also sleeved with tight sleeves). Having said that, we would NEVER do it for the Master Set. And even less for "Foil" cards, as we worry that the attrition between the cards could damage the foil over time (with or without sleeves). In general, I would suggest avoiding it, to be on the safe side. Definitely if you want to ensure maximum protection for your cards long term.
@@InkbornHeroes Thanks for the reply and insights! I'd thought about the possibility of storing future master sets that way, but with the considerations you've highlighted, I'll stay the course with the non-foil/foils displayed side-by-side 😊 Now the challenge is to find enough space to store all the binders and boxes/troves 🙃
@@l__eeanne Hahahah! We know the feeling. We were literally talking about that yesterday, because we have a draw full of binders and unsure how this is going to be scalable. XD
Hello there! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for the comment. Nice setup. QQ For the master set, Is the booster pack filled? Do you start storing numbered cards on the backside of the booster packs page? Thinking of starting on the second page.
Hey there! Glad you liked the setup. For the Master Set, we only put ONE card inside the booster packs on the first page, just to keep it more rigid. And then we use sticky tape on both sides to keep it aligned and in the right size. We don't start storing numbered cards on the backside of the first page. We actually just place any common cards (with the lorcana card back) on it, to look nice. And only start the numbering cards from the 2nd page onwards. For Ursula's Return specifically, on the back of the first page, we actually put ursula's new 9 pieces, with the "golden pack" card that comes with the Illumineer's Quest. ;)
Hey there! These are custom made by us and were given to our followers as part of a previous giveaway. We are actually just starting a new one for the new set, with Super goofy. Please check the link in our Instagram account, under our bio. Thanks!
I have been a loyal Dex Protection user but the downfall is they hold 480 cards so i have 2 cards in each spot to hold a playset. I have recently just seen the Rieton and its almost like they made it just for Lorcana holding 816 cards. Have you used Dex and if so how do you compare the two?
Thanks for the comment! We are big fans of Rieton and Vault-X for sure. Unfortunately we have never used Dex Protection, so I can’t compare them both. Lorcana is the first TCG that we really decided to collect and spend so much with.
