Central Coast Live Bait Halibut Fishing

I drove South near San Luis Obispo to go after halibut with ‪@thesantacruzsurfcaster6231‬ and ‪@Hook2Cook‬ . There was plenty of live bait in the water, and we had a beautiful morning to go after some California halibut

Thank u very much for saying San Luis I know exactly the day u went and hook to cook in that location the record last year was my buddy’s 52” about 60 pounds right in front of me I also landed a limit with two monsters 1 was 30 pounds and my other 32 pounds beating my pb twice in one day u guys went when the bite slowed down but the very next day I went out and got two back to back insta drops and went home after 4 hours 🤙love that place maybe we’ll see u guys out this year

I fished for years out of Port San Luis . We used to troll for Halibut ,Put 18 legals on the deck in one day ! Won the Halibut derby 1 year . 32 lbs was our biggest .
