Update: Daniel is 8 years old, fully verbal, amazing boy. He apeaks so much, amazing thinking, was able to travel on the plane from Canada to Europe. He becomes independent and has lots of friends... lots of work, huge improvement with ABA program. I will post more videos of him later... please never give up on your kids. They are little miracles. Please do hard work every day...

This video motivates me. My son has autism level 1 what use to be called Asperger’s syndrome or high functioning. My son is currently speech delayed . He is very smart too. He’s three years old. We will soon be starting ABA , speech and occupational. I can’t wait for this new journey and help prepare him to meet all of his milestones. Thank you for this upload! I also looked at your recent video . I can tell that ABA therapy has done him very well. Keep up the good work. You guys are doing great!
Thank you SO much for this. I can't find any videos SHOWING speech delay, only talking about it. This video is SO helpful to compare my little one to, who is almost 4 but does not use language. Thank you for your video of him at 9 - it gives me hope, and like others have posted, it made me ugly cry to see that she can overcome it, just as your son has.
Same here my son is 3.5 and has recently started saying some words but cannot converse . He understands everything just doesn’t speak clearly . I haven’t lost hope. Neither should any other parents who face similar development delays with their children .
My son just turned four this past January.(Now is March 2022). He still speaks like a 2-year-old or so. Howeverz I noticed that little by little and day after day, he is slowly learning many new words and is slowly able to more clearly pronounce his word. Let's not feel bad or sorry for our children. Or feel bad or somehow inadequate as parents. I think we should appreciate our children more, no matter of that are speech delayed ,or not. I love him very much and I am hopeful that once he starts school in September as a junior kindergarten, he will meet and play with other kids and he'll blossom aland come into his own. Children are such a blessing. I so cherish my son everyday. 😊
@@jvkenshin416 well said . It’s a struggle no doubt but I think our children have something special in each of them , my son is very mechanically inclined . He can start a motorbike and rev the engine and no one taught him this. We sat him on a bike and there he was doing it by himself and he was only 2 . So don’t think your child isn’t smart just because they don’t or cannot talk like a regular 3 year old . But I sincerely hope and pray that parents like me overcome their struggles! 🙏
I'm in tears cause my son is like this too. He is now 5 and still can't have full dialogue with adults and kids his age. As you see, this boy is smart, so is my son, but they just have a hard time having dialogue. When he wants something, he just whines rather than ask for help or say what he wants. No matter how many times I teach him to ask. He knows how, but he prefers not to speak. I wish he develops soon 😢 Sometimes, I doubt myself and feel like I am such a terrible parent who can't help my son much.
Hey, I don't wanna act like a "know-it-all" but I'm positive that it isn't completely your fault, I have a cousin who I'm very close to and she can't talk properly even if they were focusing on that since she was born because her previous siblings had a similar incident of speech delay as well, it's the child's abilities I think. Anyways, good luck with your child but I just wanted to let you know that you're a good parent because you care about him sooo much
My son will be 4 next month and doesn't really talk at all. I think it's my fault because I kinda understand his body language and babble so I wasn't correcting it. He is so smart and friendly to other kids and adults. He just can't communicate. I see him get frustrated and I get so upset with myself over it. Like what did I do wrong? But videos like this are definitely helping me figure out a path to take to help him.

I have a brother... he is 4... and he can't speak his mother language clearly and his mother language is kurdish. He always speaks english and no it's not okay that he speaks english because in friday my parents went to a kindergarten to sign him up but we coundn't because he had to speak his mother language i was scared to the day when he was 2 years old that he coundn't talk. And now he's 4 and speaks english so clearly but... he can't speak his mother language KURDISH clearly... i cry everytime... i'm so dissapointed in myself. Will he learn..? Will be able to talk clearly...? I'm trying so hard to make him learn... i'm crying when i'm writing this
And do you know why he speaks english?!?!?! Because he always always watches youtube videos in english! I know it's my fault... it's my fault he can't speak clearly i was only 9 and didn't know what to do but still... i'm gonna kill myself if he doesn't learn
My brother is almost 5 but still can't pronouce words or say sentence and he's still in diapers. He understands us a bit andknows how to be potty trained but he just doesn't want to do them. He only understamds some English with a little bit of our mother language. Don't worry, if a child talks late, he will be intelligent according to psychology. Einstein himself was a late talker and spoke at the age of 4 so don't worry. When I learned to talk at 4.5 now I'm 13 years old. But if your brother a late talker, he will be smart like Einstein but if he's over 5 years old and still can't talk, he has a problem but you can't still teach him with therapy. Don't worry, he will learn soon 😊
is not bettler to go to the mountain and show him infinite beauty god creation? im sure it would better than be with a stranger in a little room with plastic toys....come on pàrents you can do better that paying for this....
Jan Smith the most ignorant comment I have read. You have no clue , sometimes speech delay happens because there might be neurological conditions, traumatic experiences or in some cases neglect. Take the time to read, Google it, do something productive instead of judging...
Jan your behavior is not normal. I think your sad person with poor quality of life. Someone who is content with their life doesn't verbally insult a four year old. You pretty much have to have severe low self-esteem to talk bad about any child. Please don't ever reproduce.

My son who is now 4 start talking much better after we try the omega and multivitamin supplements. He still improving now. I remember when I was crying for his speech. Do some research about omega and combine with the therapy
What is this Omega. Can you explain please.
Dear please explain what is omega??
Omega 3’s are fatty acids essential for brain developing. Here are some examples- fish oil or flaxseed oil. Talk to your doctor. I’m not a doctor.
what kind of omega and multivitamins supplements is your son taking?

How is he doing now?
It is been 2 years of full time therapy. He has made huge progress, but still a long way to go for him.
Hello, is the boy is able to talk properly?

just like my brother..
Any improvements did you see by the time ? My son is 3yrs old and speaks 40words only
May i know how's your son doing now?
This is what happens when you raise your kids on iPads
Wow
it like teaching a AI and deep learning

Can’t understand a word he says. What a shame. I blame the parents at this age. And his behavior is off.
Jan Smith the most ignorant comment I have read. You have no clue , sometimes speech delay happens because there might be neurological conditions, traumatic experiences or in some cases neglect. Take the time to read, Google it, do something productive instead of judging...
Wow Jan.. Ditto.. your behavior is off more than this child who acts normal... You should be ashamed of yourself..
helloworld He’s NOT normal.
Jan your behavior is not normal. I think your sad person with poor quality of life. Someone who is content with their life doesn't verbally insult a four year old. You pretty much have to have severe low self-esteem to talk bad about any child. Please don't ever reproduce.
Tiffany Thompson I have normal children. No freaks like this one.
