I was just listening to Pyramid Song, which is even further up the hierarchy of Creep, and saw this in my notifications , and thought fuck it, Radiohead convey emotions full stop, and I know the length of sentences and absence of commas make my opinion more convoluted than a Scorsese film, but fuck off, Radiohead had th gist of it

Some of their albums are bangers like Wish You Were Here or The Division Bell, but most of their albums are just mainstream garbage. How many good songs are in The Wall? And how many innovative songs are in Dark Side of The Moon? Meanwhile, point at any Radiohead album except Pablo Honey and I will show you at least 2 songs that are creative, non-repetitive, interesting, with great lyrics, and not similar to any other Radiohead song or to any other song at all. And if we exclude King of Limbs too then I can show you at least 10 good songs from each album that match these characteristics.
I heard some songs of Porcupine Tree, I can't judge from a few songs but they sound pretty similar to Pink Floyd in themes, instruments used, and even in lyrics. Edit: to be more specific, The whole guitar line of Porcupine Tree - Time Flies sounds exactly like the guitar from Dogs (Animals) and the lyrics sound familiar but I can't remember which song exactly are they taken from.
