    You know you can remove the front bumper in less time than it took to mask it then the grill is attached with 6 torx screws, also the Audi logo is easily removable, you could have painted everything 'off car' in less time and without getting over spray on your white paint and also clear coated for durability at the same time, good job though all the same 👍🏻

    • @nugetus
      @nugetus Год назад

      what spray would you suggest to clear coat with`?

    • @mattinmalaga
      @mattinmalaga Год назад +2

      @@nugetus a rattle can will do but ensure that it's a good quality 2k acrylic, you can choose gloss or satin, give it 2 or 3 coats in a dust free environment and don't try to bake it in the sun, good luck 👍🏻
      BTW, I'm not a professional painter but mine came out popping!!

    • @020matrix
      @020matrix Месяц назад

      Remving te front bumper would only make sense if you remove the grill from the bumper also to paint it.
      Taking off bumper and then taking of the grill will take a lot of time..these grillclips can be verry difficult to loose !
      Better cleaning and remove silicones would give better painting results fore sure.
      I would use Motip plastidip high gloss because it's much tuffer and removable!

      No it all still works perfectly it’s a thin enough coat that they still work perfectly but if you are worried about it you can always test it on your vehicle as all are different just out a piece of tape over the sensor and you should be able to tell of it will give any bad feedback

    Have you got the link to this. The ones I find on Amazon says "multi-purpose paint". It is the same brand. Is this okay?
    And can I just ask what you cleaned the grill with.
    Any links much appreciated
    Great video

    how long should i wait after painting, to remove all that shit?

    • @AutoNarrative
      @AutoNarrative  4 года назад +1

      Around an hour to be safe as long as you don’t let the pieces of masking tape fall and go onto what you painted or it will stick and pull off whatever you have painted otherwise remove it carefully and you should be good to go in an hour.

    The correct spelling is actually 'grille,' not "grill" (like the cooking kind).

      Normally lasts a couple of years with no issues had it on my previous cars for 4 years no issues but it’s the same as any other paint it can still get stone chips. But lucky I haven’t had any issues with fading
