Hey Sylvia! Ok not going to lie - I'm not at all a sock knitter but the weather's cooling down here too and I'm very tempted to make a pair of shorties.
Hi there! Nice to meet you. Your plan is working. The word giveaway caught my attention. 😀 I'm watching Saturday morning here in Canada so I hope your class went well.
Hi Kat, loving your podcast, the bears and cardigan are so cute, You mentioned an Email but couldn't seem to see it, that Skien of yarn is gorgeous, what beautiful colours, I did subscribe a couple of weeks ago, good luck getting to 1,000 subscribers, Also happy for you about starting back at teaching, love all your patterns, I am 72 and maybe not able to wear some of your patterns but I still enjoy looking at all your knitting projects, I did send a comment last podcast but it was late so you might not have seen it. Sarah from Melbourne, 🤗🤗
Hi Sarah! My email address is kat@oliphantkat.com and if you want to sign up to my newsletter the link is here: oliphantkat.com.au/newsletter I definitely saw your last comment! I'm pretty sure I replied, we'd have to go back and check 😊. But I'm so glad you're watching, and I hope you find some patterns that you feel suit you!
Hi Kat, great podcast again. I’m knitting a sock with self striping yarn & the colors are not matching at the moment 😆😆. I’ve also just finished a shawl with gradient yarns. So after listening to your podcast, I definitely understand the difference 😄😄. Thanks again and the very best of luck for reaching 1k subscribers!
Sorry I'm very late. I would love to learn about brioche knitting. I knit a scarf in brioche but I still couldn't tell you how it works or anything. I would particularly appreciate any tips on two colour brioche or brioche in the round. You knit the most lovely garments Kat. I am currently working on a shawl in a baby suri alpaca and mulberry silk blend that was supposed to be finished by Mother's Day...oops. 😒
No problem Sarah, you can comment whenever you have time! 😊. That shawl sounds lovely - I can't even imagine how beautiful a suri/silk blend must be! I'm sure the recipient will be happy with it whenever they get it 💜. I'll let you know when the next brioche class is, or if you'd be interested in a private class just let me know.
Hi! The pattern’s on Ravelry (www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/jigsaw-shawl) or Etsy (www.etsy.com/au/listing/600222212/shawl-knitting-pattern-lace-knitting). Have fun with it!
Thanks for spending time with me and my knitting! What's on your needles at the moment?
Yay! So good to see you again. Can't wait to hear all about this month's knits :) Grabbing a cuppa now
Thanks Sarah! 💜
You are very talented! I always save my yarn snippets and stuff my amigurumi. 🐰🐰
Thank you! I don't often make ami but it was definitely helpful to have something to stuff all my cut up yarn into.
Hello 👋 good to see you and all your projects. I am working on socks at the moment it is getting so cold here in Melbourne and I need another pair 😊

Love your work. Your teddies are too cute and each have their own personality. Well done xx
Oh goodness, I only just saw this comment! Thank you so much, I like "personality" as a description for the teddies haha.
Here’s hoping you get to do your giveaway soon! Love your Pod Kat❤️ Great episode as always
Thanks so much Susan! Hope you're feeling better 💜

Another great episode. Thanks Kat I have too many wips but I am working on the ocean moon MKAL and the misselthwaite manor socks currently.
Thanks Skye! I've been watching your progress on Ocean Moon on Insta, it's beautiful and it's been really fun to see it come together.
