    The older male attorney is played by actor Fritz Weaver. He was in the 1st movie that I made in 1967. He was a very gracious gentleman. RIP Mr. Weaver.. you are remembered.

    You gotta love how Officers from the Uniformed Division process the scene, get all the background information including identity, address family members etc, interview witnesses and coworkers and provide possible leads before detectives arrive. Detectives show up stand around for five minutes then leave

      You got it wrong. Detectives show up, stand around for five minutes, throw in some clever one-liner and _then_ leave.

      The writers made the usual mistake of assuming the junior attorney "gets" his hourly rate. The firm gets the rate, the attorney is lucky to get a third of it. The rest goes to the partners.

    Nothing unusual for new attorney's fresh out of law school at large law firms where they are expected to put in a minimum of 80 billable hours a week ( 300 hours a month)

    Saw the episode. I...don't know if promiscuous is the right word. Jaquelyn Ogden is only stated to have slept with two people in total; that hardly constitutes as promiscuous behavior. "Promiscuous" implies the list would be longer than *two.*

      I think it was the same actress but not this episode. The sister was from the Midwest; had some boring life. Murderer was a con-woman wouldn’t state her name for the judge.

      Most killers are male, by a wide margin. And she has semen on her. Also we have a female victim (women kill mostly men). IT's reasonable to suppose the aggressor is male, but one should not discard women.

    Does anyone in the U.S. actually say that? "Call 911"? It sounds so fake. I would expect people to say, "call a doctor" or "call an ambulance". And if it is clear that the person is dead, "I think we have to call the police".

      We definitely say "Call 911." If you need an ambulance or police, if it's an emergency, that's what you do.

      As fake as it sounds, we definitely say "call 9-1-1", especially in medical emergencies
      Calling 9-1-1 is what you do to report any type of emergency, and the dispatcher will send firefighters, police, paramedics, etc according to the situation
      However, in cases like robberies, assualt, etc, people will also say "call the police", which again, is just calling 9-1-1
