I think when the minimap has areas that are blue it's showing where unique and often missable heat moves can be performed. If that's one thing I dislike the early Yakuza games for it's all the things that can be permanently lost or locked off for you on a blind playthrough.
Yep, as much as people complain about Kiwami 2 removing punching the chandelier, at least the idiots tried to shoot Kiryu as he swung around instead of standing still like braindead buffoons
I remember being new to the Yakuza games and making the mistake of not investing XP into HP, I ended up barely making it through this level with barely a sliver of health remaining going into the first fight with Ryuji Goda, in which I was promptly one shot XD.
That may have been the case in the first game as long as you were in heat mode. But I did test it when playing Yakuza 5 and I found no difference in damage for both of the attacks.
5:40 A heat action that forgotten by their game developer now.

I really hope that Yakuza 2 gets a Kiwami. I would love for this game to be fleshed out like the first game was
Hi I am from the future.
It's pretty good
Wish granted
I'm going to stand here until Kiwami 3 gets released, wake me up when it's time. And oh yeah, Ishin finally got a offical english translation.
@@frankuraku5622 I’ll come get you when it happens.
Damn I thought he was joking
10:17 they were stupid enough to stand under it

TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH! Go hard at it, Salman!

Original moves are really faster than 3 ~ 0
Man these games were so grimy and snappy I kinda miss when Yakuza games had these arcadey mechanics to them. Dragon engine games are still cool though
I want the Ost for this game but Snake206 channel is gone
FFShrine has downloads of 99% of the series' OSTs, but you need to make an account before you can download anything. It's free to join though.
Cool Thanks
I've noticed something. Does the grab-to-punch combo in this game does the same amount of damage as the grab-to-throw attack?
Hmm, I honestly haven't compared. But I think the grab-to-punch combo does more damage.

UPDATE: I just checked it again in Yakuza 5. The grab-to-punch combo does more damage.
Is it only me or is yakuza 2 better than its kiwami aside from the graphics maybe .. or maybe not
just you
yakuza 2 is better than 1 for in my opinion
