When I heard his story I couldn't help but kinda think he's a little bit of a bad ass. It's really sad that an older gentleman is trying to supplement his income by selling drugs. I do have to say, at least its nothing harder than Marijuana. I live in Washington state where we've got recreational pot shops these days. ( its kinda wild watching it go from illegal watching friends get arrested for it, to now being sold in shops) In 2021 I worked at a rec pot shop for 6 months as a temp employee. I absolutely loved the job. I was good at it and every day I went home with a pocket full of cash from the tips. I was so sad that they kept another girl as a reg employee over me, she was a temp too, who took a month off right before they made her a reg employee. I was there every day ready to work. I was told it was because she got hired before me and they only had so many available reg employee positions. Though I'm not sure I believe it. I use to be a caregiver for my best friend until I found her deceased in her apartment 9/11/2020. I have fibromyalgia and degenerative disc disease and I always showed up for my scheduled shifts. I cried for like 3 days when that job ended it was perfect. It was the first retail job/ or any job I ever had that gave me cash tips every single shift. (I've worked retail since 1994) There was also multiple shifts I earned us 20$ tips from 1 customer sometimes from multiple customers thru my shift. The only thing I could come up with was that the majority of the staff was in their 20s and I'm in my early 40s, though I get told ALL THE TIME I look like I'm in my 20s. The Marijuana industry is also really difficult to get into here. I got so lucky with placement thru a temp company. If I ever get offered a job in one again I'm leaving Value Village to get back in that industry, I fit in so well, except the attitude of the staff. The majority of the Value Village people are the same age but they aren't trying to make the staff all the same age. Lol. It's sad.
Yeah, as a Vegas native, I know quite a few senior citizens who do that because they get like $700/month from social security but that barely even covers their rent (IF that).
It seems that alcohol is the most disruptive drug to society, yet there is this "war" on substances that are far less disruptive compared to the countless deaths and injured due to alcohol.
This is funny and sad. I was in jail once and the girls were telling me how to steal at walmart and how easy it was. I asked them, "How did that work out for ya?!"
So sad that alcohol makes people nearly incomprehensible...... My mother served red wine in small pretty glasses when we had spagetti.....🤷🏻♀️...... and a white wine in a pretty little glass if we had fish Hamburgers, fried chicken and other meals did not have a side of wine.....🤷🏻♀️ Home made soups and stews had hot home made bread served with...little memories of Family meals....💖👋🏻👵🏻
Not gonna lie, as a Las Vegas native who's had the unfortunate "privilege" of being a guest at CCDC, and then several years later also getting to experience 2 nights in Chicago's Cook County Jail, I have to begrudgingly admit that CCDC is very well run/managed, clean (for a jail), safe, and attentive of inmates' medical needs. I hate to admit it.

When you consider that alcohol-related incidents costs the economy more than $248 BILLION per year, and given the potentially devastating personal consequences involved, society as a whole needs to ask why the manufacture, sale and consumption of alcohol is allowed. Is it worth the tax revenue? No. Annual tax on alcohol products is less than $11 Billion. When you see the vast amount of resources that are wasted to police and address this problem, resources that could be used to improve the community, and the brutal impact that drunkards have on others, from fights, injuries or death, it is not reasonable to think that personal freedom outweighs societal need.
Brother we already tried this in the twenties and all it did was make the criminal underworld obscenely powerful, people to home brew which caused personal injury and death and ALSO increase police and government spending busting all the illegal alcohol sales and manufacture. Your opinion is very strange to me. It doesn't matter what you do people are still going to drink, find ways to drink and find ways to make a fool of themselves.
@@kellismith4329 Well, they're trying, through taxation. But let's face it, people don't usually light up and then do crazy stuff. Comparing pineapples to hand grenades.

These people who get arrested for battery and assault are NEVER the guilty ones... what is the point in lying to jail staff? They can't drop charges and they don't sentence people.
I have been arrested 2 times. 1 for assault and 1 for selling stolen hand guns and possession of stolen property but have never seen the inside of a jail or been handcuffed except by a girlfriend but that was for fun.
I love Officer Sittre. She is so cute, but she is a fantastic officer. She is really good at what she does. She really seems to genuinely care about these people, and tries to help as much as she can. I have been incarcerated before, so I can say from experience that you don't meet many officers like that.
Bailbonds. Most of the time, you only need 10% of total. Make your deal with the bondsman for payment. Total is what you have to pay if you don't show in court for trial.
I don't understand these criminals talking to the jailers about their crime. All those criminals have been mirandized, as such anything they say to the jailers can be used against them in court. But then I guess their not exactly mental giants.

For people that don’t use jail like a revolving door, it’s nice to know what actually happens if you are arrested. The general process is interesting.
