During exam , from Q to U ,first they will let you open all the subjects analyasie the question and then you have to select what to attempt.
Or we have to decide beforehand which subject question will be choosing without seeing the question paper like botany or zoology.
You can view questions of all sections and then decide

Hello mam i wanted to do msc in biochemistry but while filling gate 2024 there is no option of biochemistry ..in one paper there is only gate xl and in second option gate xl with bt,ecology, biology engineering....how to fill form currently in am 3 semester students little bit late..session 21-24 can i apply for exam..

As i have completed my master's with zoology but in my graduation level i didn't study chemistry instead of chemistry i studied forestry botany n zoology so am i eligible since there are many exams where chemistry is mandatory in bachelor's level
So plz if you could make exams of life science where chemistry is not mandatory in bachelor's level will be very helpful 🙏

During exam time you will find all the sections, then you can choose two of them. You can attempt Biochemistry and Zoology.

@@vedemy mam I only found few institution where GATE score is eligible for msc in biological science I.e. IISC AND NISER BHUBANESWAR (WHERE DUE TO LITTLE BIT HIGH CUTOFF I DIDN'T GET SELECTED,other than these institutes all Institutes consider IIT JAM for Admission in Masters (all IITs and IISER).
Also I didn't get any guidance regarding my admission through GATE XL
MAM PLEASE GUIDE ME REGARDING FURTHER BENEFITS OF GATE XL IN MY FUTURE(as it is valid for 3 years).Also tell about the Institute where I can get admission in masters on the basis of GATE XL.

If you want to get selected in MSC in iisc try to give GAT-B (formerly iit jam).
In that score try new iits like iit mandi, jodhpur, gandhinagar

I have opted technical branch in engineering i.e cs but I am interested in neither technical branch nor engineering. I want to do research in core branches like phy & bio. But as there is no high salary jobs in research & due to some other complusions also I had to do engineering. I thought that in final year I will go for placements & through gate will study life sciences. Mam I love biology, its my passion I don't want to leave it.
