Cerveza's generally go in a Michelada for me. I tend to think of Modelo as a higher quality Cerveza but "blander" than Tecate. Tecate spent a couple years as a "staple" in my fridge (for my homemade Micheladas) because of the price, but it has recently seen a price increase and become harder to find.
I don't know why. But everytime I drink Modelo beer. It smells like Apple Juice. But tastes like beer.
I hadn't noticed that, but next time I have Modelo, I'll see if I can pick up the apple aroma.
That's an interesting new Tecate label design. I think I could tell these apart from each other, but I'm not sure of that.

I’ve had both, but it’s been a while. I don’t remember being impressed with Tecate.
