@JANGBRICKS, I disagree about the prints on backs covered by capes, I believe that its great that they do that, as you've said the target market(even for overwatch) is children not collectors and that those capes will more than likely be switched to other figures so it really is good to have the prints even if there covered by design.
So much thanks for the review. As a huge Overwatch player, I always appreciate how you make the effort to gather information about the game universe compared to other Lego youtubers :)
I don’t get these sets... it wouldn’t have been a great opportunity to just choose one map and spread the different parts of it in different sets. So if you buy everything, you’ll get a big diorama of every character together in action.
Marian Mauel I think that LEGO didn’t do that because some people don’t like a specific map so they will buy the other sets than not buying any LEGO so by making sets in different locations then the fans will be happy cause they don’t get a lot of sets for maps they don’t like and LEGO will be happy because they make more money
The Reaper spray on the side of the building originated in a tie-in comic. It became a meme in the Overwatch community and Blizzard added it as a spray due to demand.
Hey JangBricks. Love your work. Not a big fan of overwatch, but you definitely inspired me to start collecting lego and making content. Keep up the good work.
Hover vehicles are quite cool and rare in Lego sets, I can imagine someone creating a future Lego city with those kinds of vehicles, fires my imagination!
It's just a perfect set to place against a back wall "exit road" in a LEGO City. It fits nice and neat clean across road plates so if you have a road that leads into the back wall of your city this is the filler set for you
Speaking as an avid Overwatch player, I look at this set and instantly know exactly which part of the map it represents, so for my money it does it's job.
Wallyworld has it for $24, if I ever find it on clearance i might get 2, have a little squad of Reapers, have a hairy & hatted McGee, & have a full two story corner! And two trucks are better than one.
I think that because Lego hasn't really done a lot with videogames like this, then it makes sense that the sets would seem a bit rough, as this is probably kind of an experiment for them. I really hope this theme does really well so Lego will continue to experiment and maybe outdo Mega's Halo stuff. Lego Super Smash Bros would be amazing
I think, Lego's box arts often blends the real content. e.g. all coast guards looks soo fantastik in action - then you realize, the true model can't put on the water.
I think that if Lego would quit doing back printing for characters that have something on the back, it's like saying: this is how the figure should be, and that kinda takes the rebuild of figures out of it. There are a lot of builders out there, that take good advantage of those back printings by using them for figures who those back printing match. That's a big part of the fun and taking it might get us better quality prints but it would also take out a big option for creativity, which is the essence of Lego.
Licensed 21103-1: The DeLorean Time Machine was 401 Pieces, 2 Minifigs for 35$. Okay, it's DeLorean, much more epic and with a few printed parts. But compared by volume, the priece for 75972 seems okay.
Hasbro might have a case against Lego and Blizzard on this minifig version of Soldier 76. The face is almost an exact match for the v5 Snake Eyes GI Joe figure...
If you've got the pieces you can do anything! Thinking about picking one of these up when it's heavily discounted, mainly to convert it into a regular old truck. Feel it would look good in a Winter Village scene, a little like the 40083 Christmas Tree Truck.
reapers head looks fine his face reminds me of he Darth Revan minifig which is an extremely well made piece as well...though significantly better than this one it's understandable since this reaper is cheap
I think the building looks fine for what it is supposed to be; a facade. But, it is the flimsiest official Lego set I have ever put together. Actually, I gave up after it collapsed on me for the third time. I bought the set for the truck so I could modify it and knew the pieces for the building would be useful, elsewhere. So, it's not a big deal if it doesn't work, but I wonder if anyone else had a similar issue with it.
I have the set I think its great really great the price is really good if you ask me the building is basically empty but it at least has space to play with and it looks good from the outside the truck looks nice and there is a pretty good amount of space on the back to play normally I would probably complain about how empty the building is but for the price and 3 minifigures I cant complain so if you like to display then I think this is pretty good for that and a good way to get some overwatch heroes without having to pay a lot of money and if you want to play then this set is really good at least from personal experience but that's just my opinion on the set hope you have a good day to anyone reading this :)
honestly the background and everything made it more expensive than the play value also the lack of stud shooters or anything is extremely disappointing.
One thing I really hate about the Overwatch sets are the box arts. They look way too CG. Most other themes looks very realistic, but I doubt they are actual photographs nowadays. The quality of the CG renders on the Overwatch set is on the same level as Megablok's box arts...
I was rather disappointed with most Overwatch sets myself. They are a bit uninspired is how I feel. I understand that Overwatch doesn't really lend itself for a lot of iconic builds, so we got a strip from a level pretty much. Which is fine, but I don't think this set is impressive enough. If it was a rather detailed arch from the level, with an actual rooftop and a more defined market stall, then it would be great! The way it is, it is inconsistent. The pole and lights look nice, but the market stall is very underwhelming. The arches look nice, but the walls and the roof lack any texture. The power core and hover wheels look nice, but the boring "city style" windshield and roof combo coupled with the very blocky build is just uninteresting. I think they did a great job with the mechs set, which is unfortunate as they aren't really minifig scale.
Personally, I wouldn't spend $30.00 USD on this set. I'd spend, $25.00 USD at most with $20.00 USD being my preferred price. This set feels like it's missing something.
Here's the speed build for this one: ruclips.net/video/ucO7p-V3mTA/видео.html
Best review on RUclips of this set

I wish McCree had a hair hat duel molding it would suit far better
A hair hat duel? Sounds weird but exciting
[No, seriously, I do agree a dual-molded hat with hair would be more appropriate to the character.]
I think Rex hat from lego movie 2 minifigure pack would be perfectly fit (with the the recoloring on top hat)
Same here. I saw the Rex hair/hat dual mold in the CMF series and was like "Why didn't McCree get that?"
With some crafty skills, cut the top of the hair and glue the hat with rest of hair
I ALREADY CHOSE MCRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
The first 2 stickers on the building are sprays for Reaper and S76, unique images players can place on the map when controlling those characters.
And one is from a achievement (the cross) and one is a lucid spray
So much thanks for the review. As a huge Overwatch player, I always appreciate how you make the effort to gather information about the game universe compared to other Lego youtubers :)

I kind of agree, kind of dont, on one hand it would be so cool to have a diorama of Hanamura or Dorado, I like variety as well.
The Piñata is Diablo from the Diablo games. Also, most of the stickers on the wall are sprays added by players.
6:01 I don't think a lot of people will truly understand the impact of that sticker, thats amazing
Agree, it's the funniest Spray Reaper has!
And emote
I burst out laughing
Thats actually hilarious
The Reaper spray on the side of the building originated in a tie-in comic. It became a meme in the Overwatch community and Blizzard added it as a spray due to demand.
Great video as always Jang. Can't wait to see more updates on New Jang City, especially the Planetary Defense Force Base
Also, strange question, but do you have a favorite LEGO piece (mine in cheeseslope)???
One of the best sets in this theme

Man, I wish I had the skill to cut and saw down McCree's hair piece to fit below the hat.
It's just a perfect set to place against a back wall "exit road" in a LEGO City. It fits nice and neat clean across road plates so if you have a road that leads into the back wall of your city this is the filler set for you
Soldier 76: *exists*
JangBricks: “4head”
I got this tonight at Wal-Mart for $16 That's a great deal for 419 pieces.
Seems like a massive misstep not to include a Sombra figure with this set.
Speaking as an avid Overwatch player, I look at this set and instantly know exactly which part of the map it represents, so for my money it does it's job.
That payload truck looks REALLY good.
Personally I really like the building. For a stop motion I am making the building is a great place to put a sniper such as Widow maker
It's called Dorado Showdown but they use the Castillo map for the CG rendered boxart
That is going to bother me lol
Two of the stickers are sprays that you can tag on walls in the game and the big one is a poster unique to the map :)
McCree makes me think of a tan Aragorn 😂
Maybe I’ll be tracer
Imagine thinking that jokes still funny
Ok Kadz I love you (no homo) but this thing died a long time ago
I never knew you watched jang
NO
IM TRACER
Wallyworld has it for $24, if I ever find it on clearance i might get 2, have a little squad of Reapers, have a hairy & hatted McGee, & have a full two story corner! And two trucks are better than one.
LEGO should’ve used an older style of cape on McCree
Also, strange question, but do you have a favorite LEGO piece (mine in cheeseslope)???
Orange and blue on the back of the box. Complementary colors. Makes it pop, catches the eye. You ‘get it’ but your brain is attracted to the color.
I've got this set in my sights
You should put that truck on your lego train layout and see if it works at all
I think that because Lego hasn't really done a lot with videogames like this, then it makes sense that the sets would seem a bit rough, as this is probably kind of an experiment for them. the art on the box is the wrong overwatch map
They have done a lot of hair/hat molds before, why couldn’t they have done a new one for McCree?
The stickers are sprays unlocked within the game
The more i look at this set, the more i feel it could complement Apocalypsburg. Just lose the hover tech wheels.
Licensed 21103-1: The DeLorean Time Machine was 401 Pieces, 2 Minifigs for 35$. Okay, it's DeLorean, much more epic and with a few printed parts. But compared by volume, the priece for 75972 seems okay.
That yellow makes it really hard to ignore the false wheels
I like the idea to discard the print On the back to put that money towards other stuff
The only thing that puts me off is McCree (McClunkey!) not looking like he has hair when wearing his hat. I need both.
Nice detail with his left hand being silver for his robotic arm
Hasbro might have a case against Lego and Blizzard on this minifig version of Soldier 76. The face is almost an exact match for the v5 Snake Eyes GI Joe figure...
slap a red lightsaber onto reaper. fixed.
This is my favourite set out of the rest of the overwatch line and i don't really know why :›
Its because of Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns
gibberish ed same
Can you turn that hover truck into a Lego city truck by adding wheels and replace the hover wheels ?
No. It is impossible to alter a Lego vehicle once it is put together.
If you've got the pieces you can do anything! Thinking about picking one of these up when it's heavily discounted, mainly to convert it into a regular old truck. Feel it would look good in a Winter Village scene, a little like the 40083 Christmas Tree Truck.
@ any attempt at altering a lego build once assembled will result in permanent brick damage
yes you can with vary simple parts but it dose not look as cool but that's my opinion so take it as you will :)
I got this set to do exactly that. Go for it!
Wish the building was complete
yea but the price would rocket from $30 to i would assume ~$85
Hi Jang just wondering if you will do a build for the truck but has a actual truck instead of a space one because that would be pretty cool to see
I want that truck with wheels and a better bed also I would make the building better it looks like a stage prop
I think the set looks great in any way. Just bought my 2nd copy. Will add normal wheels to the truck(s) tho.
I think these OverWatch sets had a lot of problems. The hats on McCree really should have been a dual mold with his hair.
Yeah, I feel like the the main structure not being the main structure on the box front kinda speaks that it's lacking something
the stickers on the walls are sprays from the game
Cool set
The only Overwatch set worth buying.
reapers head looks fine
his face reminds me of he Darth Revan minifig which is an extremely well made piece as well...though significantly better than this one
it's understandable since this reaper is cheap
This is the only set I want from the theme and it looks good and My favourite is the truck which I want to modify to a normal truck
i can see an opportunity to modify the truck to make it look like a regular truck with normal wheels
This set's cool.
5:55 they actualy put in the reaper shrug lol
The stickers represent sprays in the game
I think you should include pictures of the models when you address inaccuracies to further illustrate your points.
And I thought the Dorado was that Cadillac Hover-Style ElDorado
Are you not doing the quick bricks breakdowns anymore?
The stickers represent sprays in game
It’s TWEEEELLVE O’CLOCK CENTRAL STANDARD TIME
could care less about overwatch but man that hover trucks beautiful just needs some clear bricks instead of train wheels
The building is a perfect facade to fill some gaps along the wall where my lego city is
Love this set, probably gonna get it soon! Also, what do you think about the new Harry Potter 2019 summer sets Jang?
Great video
They should have reproduced one of the Lone Ranger pieces for mcree’s hat or the Rex dangervest cowboy hat
honestly the background and everything made it more expensive than the play value
also the lack of stud shooters or anything is extremely disappointing.
I agree, back printing is largely useless, especially when the face printing is so bad
Wheres the defeat sign ?
I wonder if overwatch will get another wave?
One thing I really hate about the Overwatch sets are the box arts. They look way too CG. Most other themes looks very realistic, but I doubt they are actual photographs nowadays. The quality of the CG renders on the Overwatch set is on the same level as Megablok's box arts...
Should I use that white hair piece for my purist custom quicksilver. Or any other suggestions.
Hey jang, please reply for your opinions
Should lego make half life and half life 2 sets?
I really want to hear your opinions.
Walmart is selling this set at $25. I think that is a good price
Did I tell you I love this channel?
I was rather disappointed with most Overwatch sets myself. They are a bit uninspired is how I feel. But how much In Canada can cost that Lego sir
hi Jang just wanted to say that the video is awesome keep it up :D
Love it!
Yet another half building that need to be completed, seems Lego needs to go back to Emmet house.
I want to buy this one prob
Why do there isn't a BAMF print on McCree's belt?
Probably because the AMF stands for curse words and while LEGO is progressive, they still seek to maintain a mostly family-friendly image.
You can get this for $25 at Walmart
i think it's $24.xx at Wallyworld!
I want dat set
The arch makes no sense to me. They should have built a more solid one floor building of the same number of parts.
The stickers are just sprays
I dont care about Overwatch but i like the build
If 30 dollar is just cutting it, than 42,99 euro certainly is not.
Personally, I wouldn't spend $30.00 USD on this set. I'd spend, $25.00 USD at most with $20.00 USD being my preferred price. This set feels like it's missing something.
Seems empty-ish to me too. And I'm an Overwatch player still not much value really.
11:49 I'm awesome in that look
This sets OK.
$30? Its $25 at Walmart
